I've seen 28 Days, and thought it was better than Z. Having seen most of the big 'zombie' films, I thought 28 Days was decent. Did you think 28 Weeks was better or worse than 28 Days?

Looking forward to seeing this.

Thought both were decent-took my daughter and her first serious boyfriend to DAYS. Didn't see WEEKS until 2008 and thought it was really good and a rare sequel that is better than the original source

CRONOS (1993)-Fine debut by Guillermo Del Toro that looks great, has a sensitive portrayal by a child actor and does a unique take on vampirism. Well worth seeing with a stellar funny turn by Ron Perlman and cool seeing Claudio Brooks again-enjoyed him in here almost as in SAMSON IN THE WAX MUSEUM (1964)! ****

I'll put it in white to avoid spoiling it for others:
-I think I was expecting something different.
The archaeology approach was cool. But I didn't like the way magic and Hell were used in the concept.
That and some stuff didn't make sense to me or was too vague for my taste:

-They take the safe route in the beginning, the way Papillion had taken before and still things go wrong so they have to take the evil passage.
-They didn't seem that surprised when The Mole, a guy who's been missing for two years, suddenly turns up. He says he knows the way out but for some reason he still there.
-Who was the person who appeared and disappeared during the guided tour?
-What was the deal with the hooded guy? Was he the creator of the stone?
-Who was the woman who left the dancing and who was also the priestess?
The creator's wife?

I think it would've been better for this movie if they used creatures, made and controlled by the alchemist who lives and dwells in the catacombs.
Until the one who solves the riddle comes to claim the stone.
Kind of a horror Indiana Jones on a smaller scale.
The wife being someone who lures victims to the tunnels to feed the creatures or something like that.

I was pleasantly surprised by Wer last night. Better than expected.

Best werewolf movie I've seen in a long time.
Along with Wolfcop but that's less serious.
Looking forward to Late Phases. Should be out soon.
