Tobe Hooper's Invaders from Mars. Just before that I watched Strange Invaders.

Children of the Corn 1, 2 and 3. Not bad.

"Pandorum" 7/10

It was alright, but the camera speed and the cuts were too fast for my taste. Like watching a music video.

The story was... meh..

BOY A - 2 children murder a 11 year old girl (very similar to the Jamie Bulger case) - 8 years later one of them is released under an assumed name to try 'start again'...

It was very well done.

It's a difficult subject matter - child murder is the most heinous of crimes and a film that is some what sympathetic to one is not an easy watch.

Defianlly a good watch.

I watched "Donkey Punch" the fairly new British movie last night, has anyone seen it? I am intrigued as to what people think of it. It's a true slasher, lots of gore and blood etc. but I wasn't totally onvinced, seemed a bit dumbed down and too 'obvious' in a way, but my boyfriend, a movie buff, thought it was really clever and socially minded. any thoughts?

BOY A sounds good I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

Definitely!

Last seen:

Freeway (1996). Absolutely wonderful, funny, and dark flick. Coulda swore i'd seen it before but there is no way i'd forget this one. Reese Witherspoon is trashy delightful.

Shoot the Piano Player (1960). An absolute gem of a French gangster flick, this is as much a study of natural vs developed character as it is a loved story spurred on by gangster violence. With lots of twists and turns and secret pasts, this is a simple story that is beautifully told and wonderful to watch. Ashe.
