Journey among women

It was a bit slow but an interesting piece of filmmaking from 1970's Australia. set in N,S,W bushland (it looked like the blue mountains), it is the story of a bunch of convict women who escape and are led by one of the ladys of the town. It all comes down to the redcoats trying to wipe them out.

Dogs in Space

This movie is great, I rented it yesterday mainly for the bonus documentary "We're living on dogfood" but I watched the movie late last night anyway for the first time in about 5 years, damn, I forgot how much I love it, I have to get me a copy.

For those who haven't seen it, it's set in Richmond,Melbourne,Australia in the late 70's. IT's about a share house that is out of controll and a band that exists there called dogs in space. If you haven't seen it you should.

Leaving Las Vegas (1995). Obviously one of the most gut-wrenching and tragic love stories ever filmed. Cage and Shue were no less than perfect. Ashe.

With solid acting on all accounts, the lead actress Martha turned out to be more than just a smoking hot piece of eye heroin. Leaning on the side of torture porn, this one is definitely worth a watch. Ashe.

Yeah I was suprised how good this was - I wonder how close it is to the real story...

Oh yeah and please don't say 'torture porn'.
