Joel Schumacher finally made a "man" outta him, after Batman Forever.

But Val Kilmer still happens to be awesome. Whereas Steven Seagal... meh.

The Quiet Earth (1985)

Another one that I've had for ages and only just got around to watching...glad I did though. Fantastic little "last man on Earth" story, with a powerhouse performance from Bruno Lawrence carrying most of the film. Really brought something different to the post-apocalypse sub-genre and had some truly amazing moments.

The Hurt Locker (2008)

Good movie, but didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Lots of great performances (particularly Jeremy Renner) and some very intense moments, but the scenes just didn't seem to flow properly and it took me a long while to get interested. Once it grabbed me I was pretty impressed, I just wish it could have been a bit more cohesive.

That's how I felt, too.
The main character's monologue at the end (to his son) I felt was really annoying and redundant; it really took me out of it.

Trailer Park of Terror (2008)

Plenty of gore, violence, loud music and zombies in a redneck settings, somewhat like watching Rob Zombie's Evil Dead 2! Worth a watch.

Assassination of a High School President (2008)

A decent comedy thriller. Check out for Mr. Bruce Willis as he's the principal of the school. :)

Borderland (2007). Better than average horror from the 8 Films to Die For series. The beginning was pretty darn good, with the actual story starting afterwards only to bring the beginning back into the fray. With solid acting on all accounts, the lead actress Martha turned out to be more than just a smoking hot piece of eye heroin. Leaning on the side of torture porn, this one is definitely worth a watch. Ashe.
