Zombieland was so so good. Like Return said, it's highly recommended. Funny, witty, touching. The cameo was hilarious. The comedy does go beyond what happens in the trailer, so don't expect that you've already seen all the good bits.

Sneak some Twinkies in in your coat pockets, enjoy the movie and stay til after the credits roll for another laugh or two.

Fuck! Did not stick around after the credits - care to inform a poor drunken college student as to what he missed?

Just a bit more of the cameo. Nothing big.

Sin Nombre (2009). i cannot attest to the reality of life in Central America as it is portrayed in this film, but sadly it is not too hard to imagine it as painfully authentic. This film is a beautiful study on the trappings of a third world lifestyle gone horibly awry. The story centers on two opposites, one an iniquitous gangbanger and the other an innocent girl, as they try to leave behind a world with no future. While the story itself was not as deep as that of "City of God," i'd say the bleak atmosphere lent to the inevitable misery that these people are born into may have actually made this one as powerful if not more so.

Ha, I liked it more when I was a kid, but not a bad adaptation.

Silent Hill- 7/10

I still think this flick has one of, if not the best horror climaxes of recent years.

Last night I watched Clive Barker's Night Breed...sheesh, this movie only gets better with age. I remember going to the premiere in Rockville, Md when I was 12 or 13...I thought the movie was great but didn't grasp alot of the plot. The make up was great( I think it stands up today) the environment of Midian was so good & creepy and the story was good but more geared for adults than the average horror film. Watching the movie 20 years later, I was suprised how much I missed by not understanding just a few things...Anyhoo props to Barker, trifecta king of horror art/film/writing!
