No idea why I watched this as Ive never liked Peter Pan but it turned out to be a perfectly watchable time waster, Johnny Depp was good as JM Barrie and Kate Winslet was as attractive as ever.

Surrogates (2009)

Pretty predictable and generic, but enjoyable to a certain extent. Bruce Wills gives his typical performance - nothing we haven't seen from him before, but he's decent enough. The plot is a bit convoluted, doesn't have much tension, and you can see pretty much the whole story coming from a mile away.

Might be worth a rental when it hits DVD, or a quick download if that's your thing...don't bother with it in theatres. A passable time killer, nothing more or less.

Australain Rules

Much better than I had expected, it covers turmoil between aborigainales from a missionary and the whites in town who are brought together by a football team. A bit brutal towards the end.

Not so great but not bad either. Haven't read the original stories so can't say how bad or good it's been adapted. An okay Masters of Horror like film with some good gore & effects. Worth a rental may be.
