How was El Superbeasto, by the way?

Well, I did really enjoy The Informant. Definitely one of my top favorites this year thus far.

El Superbeasto was fun, it definitely wasn't good. But I'd say it's worth a watch if you aren't easily offended and think it would be funny to watch cartoons doing the nastiest, filthiest things possible without catching an X-Rating. Some of the voice talents are great, especially Paul Giamatti as Dr. Satan and Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants) as Otto the Ape. Just crazy, off-the-wall shit.

Children Of The Corn - 6/10
Watched it on cable yesterday. I had not seen it in years. I use to love it as a kid, but it doesn't stand the test of time.

last night IFC played Cronenberg's CRASH followed by THE SWEET HEREAFTER...people turned on by automobile accidents followed by a town destroyed by one.

had to watch such a demented double-bill.

Damn- how did I miss that?

The Elephant Man (1980)

Another David Lynch masterpiece.

More straight forward than most of his work, but still brimming with his incomparable style. Merrick story has always been close to my heart - I saw a wonderful stage adaption when I was very young - and this version more than did him justice.

Quite possibly Lynch's most touching and emotional work, and one of his best without a doubt.

There's an annual movie festival going on in a town not too far from me this weekend. Tonight I went and got to see Zombi 2 (1979) on the big screen.

And I have to say, you haven't seen the eye gouging scene or the zombie vs. shark scene until you've seen them projected at a height of 30 feet right in front of you.

Just had a evil child double bill with The Good Son and The Omen.

What's The Good Son like? Saw it quite some time ago but don't really remember much of it.
