Agreed,a cracking start to the new series.But what did expect as it was directed by the awesome talent that is Greg Nicotero.

Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. This was a perfect season opener- I just wonder how they're going to keep up this level of drama and action.

Also, I'm really glad to see Rick back in control. Andrew Lincoln is doing an amazing job.

Episode 2 "Strangers" I was excited when I first heard that Seth Gilliam from The Wire was cast as Gabriel so I've been looking forward to this episode.

SPOILERS

It was much slower than the season premiere but I think that's to be expected. It did have a couple of tense scenes and put Carol and Daryl on the trail to find Beth. The zombies in the flooded basement scene looked great. Just when Bob starts to become likable he gets captured by cannibals.

i stopped watching this series, last i watched was season 3 i think, i have a lot of catching up to do.

Yeah...real tough break for Bob...
And especially COLD at Gareth eating his cooked flesh right to his face and actually having the nerve to call him tasty.
That's just brutal.
But, I wonder...was Bob bitten when he was dragged underwater?
Why was he outside crying and why did he want "one more kiss" from Sasha.
He had a gun in his back belt...was he going to shoot himself after/during that cry he was having?
WHO KNOWS???
We'll find out!

SPOILERS

Episode 3 "Four Walls and a Roof" Loved the 'tainted meat' moment to open the episode. I like seeing Rick and Abraham butt heads. The scene where they slaughter the hunters was brutal although they deserved it. Michonne gets her sword back! RIP Bob Stookey. I liked seeing Tyreese step up for Sasha at the end. While I don't like seeing the group separated again the stories are generally better when they're not in a big group. Looking forward to finally seeing what happened to Beth next week.

If they kill Carol, I'll frickin hate it!!!
I read somewhere that Beth was kidnapped because she's young, healthy...stressing on the word, young...as in, can get pregnant over and over again. Crazy people wanting to repopulate the world by force, if necessary.
That's why she wakes up in a hospital...babies get born in hospitals...even ones without power, it would seem.
If the theories are correct!
We'll see!

First question: How was that cannibal guy from episode 1 still alive? I thought he got beaten to death by Big Black Guy in the cabin?

Second question: Who the hell is Beth?
