Gothika was ok, I can't really stand Halle Berry though. Yeah right dude Fear Dot Com was gay as hell....I didn't mind Halloween 3 as a movie not as the series. I liked TCM2 I thought it was one of the better ones.

Agreed, feardotcom was total shit IMO, it's one of mine.
*feardotcom *exorcist 2: heretic *Bodymelt *talos: the mummy *Soul survivors Yeah, I know there's already 5, but... *Ginger snaps, Regardless of what all the alleged fans of this movie will no doubt say in it''s defence, I found it a long, drawn out, poorly acted sooky BITCH of a movie with very anticlimatic werewolf scenes. If that's your bag, baby...groovy... As for the others, I didn't go on poor storyline (well, I didn't go JUST on that), as horror doesn't have to have a good, or even much of ANY storyline to at least give you a chuckle, and hence make itself not a COMPLETE waste of time, what I mainly made these decisions on is how much the films BORED me...the first 2, I didn't even sit through more than half an hour of... Somebody mentioned the mangler earlier, gotta say I agree on the complete shittiness of this one too, but IMO it still doesn't come NEAR the absolute shit in my top 6...but yeah, all the same, very dissapointing. As for psycho beach party, in no way was that meant to be a horror...it was a parody with added violence. I personally liked it, but hey, it's just a matter of individual taste. - B. |

Yeah it sucked very bad. It was so bad you shouldn't of even messed up with your wording. But its ok dude lol.
|
The Prophesy: Old 1970's one.
Ghost Ship: Original one about the nazis Wendigo Signs...........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr fear.com I'm sure there are worse but these are the ones that come to mind first. :p |
Darkness Falls
JasonX Exorcist 2 Scarecrow Slayer Sick |
Oh yeah, and "the bunker"...
Boooring, looked so good, but never paid off. |
we forgot the worst piece of crap ever.....dee snider's strangeland.......also nobody mentioned wes craven's mind ripper
|
omg Nine9 thank you......all i ever hear is how good signs was......that movie sucked ASS
And yeah Austin Jason X and Darkness falls were horrible I did like the part when the 2 fake girls asked jason if hed like to smoke pot and have premerital sex and he beats the crap outta them lmao |
I really enjoyed a lot of the movies listed on here. Sure Jason X, Halloween: Ressurection were bad but that was the point of them. They were sequels taking the piss out of themselves. I didn't think Darkness Falls was that bad it had some scary moments and I usually don't like ghost story bullshit. Jeepers Creepers was a great movie too at least when it came out it broke the mold of what the studios were turning out (i.e dumb teen "Scream" rip-offs). I think people take horror movies way to seriously and cheat themselves out of getting any enjoyment of them. And what the fuck's with Basket Case, Ginger Snaps (probably one of the best horror movies in the last 15 years) and TCM2 getting mentioned here? Get some taste those two movies are great packed with really dark humour and gore. The only two movies that have pissed me off recently were Beast In The Cellar (real shitty 70s British film which sucked so much - if your idea of fun is seeing two old ladies ramble on and on and on you might like it) and Long Time Dead. And for the record Darkman II and III kick the shit out of Feardotcom and Gothika.
|
Motherfucker...learn that it's not about having good or bad taste, it's about your individuality. I HATED ginger snaps, and don't give half a fuck WHAT you thought of it.
My opinion of the film doesn't invalidate yours....and it SHOULD be likewise - so TRY and climb the fuck over yourself before you tell ME to get some taste, unless you want me to start calling you a fucking idiot for your own preferences. |

Darkness falls may have had some what of a scary moment or two. I mean yeah horror is to havefun not talk about how technical something is. I agree totally with TCM2 that was one of my faves and I still love it. It's funny gore filled i mean I thought it was great. I didn't like Jeepers Creepers THAT much but I did like it and yes it did break the mold and I thank them for that. I was seriously gettin tired of new age slasher films. |

Ticks is bloody excellent - nasty, flesh-burrowing creatures... pulsating egg-sacs... the one that grows big in the bodybuilder's steroid-saturated body... and characters that are actually fleshed out before being offed which is something of a rarity in these creature/body horror movies. |
For the people who think Halloween III sucked it didnt suck it was just different.
1)House of 1,000 Corpses 2)White Noise 3)Freddy vs Jason 4)The Village 5)AVP |

And from The Shape himself! |
HAHA. I agree with both of you. At first when I was little I didn't like it. I have grown to like it if not love it.
|
Yes, definately an adult horror movie - devoid of icons, anti-heroes and wisecracking smartass humour.
Refresh! |

House of 1000 Corpses?! Freddy vs. Jason?! I loved those movies! The Village and White noise just looked to shit for even me to bother checking out, and that's saying something cause I live for cinematic shit. |
Yeah I didn't like 1000 Corpses too well. FVJ was a good time though I love that movie haha.
I wanna see White Noise. I saw The village that movie sucked ass. I mean it was ok but it was that good. My mom and I went to see it and we figured out the story half way though the movie. I don't really like Shamalan's (or w/e) movies Except for the 6th sense. |
I found House of 1000 Corpses improved with repeated veiwings but that's probably not something you' want to do if you weren't really into it in the first place. Yeh! Freddy vs Jason was fun I'm glad someone else liked it. It seems to get dissed all the time on here. Yeh the Village sounds like it'll be on my wait till its on TV list. The Sixth Sense was cool when it came out, I saw Unbreakable on TV the other night it had some pretty cool ideas in it.
|
Yeah FVJ wasnt bad at all.
I never seen unbreakable but it looked good |

You DID referr to one of the films I'd mentioned before you said "get some taste", so...was I wrong in assuming you were referring to ME, indirectly or otherwise? For the record, I said "motherfucker" as a term of exasperation at what you had said, not to call you names... Quote:
Anyways, I'm over it, just thought I'd ATTEMPT to explain my point, take it or leave it. As for F vs J, I didn't think it was shitty, as a matter of fact, I think the NOES series went downhill from #3 onwards (although 4 wasn't BAD), and IMO, this has been one of the better ones since, as far as it rates as a Jason film, I suppose it wasn't bad that way either...but it was really more on the NOES side of things if you ask me. F vs J wasn't as GOOD as I thought it COULD HAVE been, but I still quite liked it. |
Yeah next they should have pinhead vs jaws that would be sweet.......yeah not really
|
There are far worse than any NOEs, F13THs and Halloweens.
1. 976-Evil....still the only movie I ever walked out on. (yes, I went to the theatre for it) 2. 13 ghosts ...horrible..how anyone likes this movie is beyond me 3. Scalps 4. Motel Hell 5. I STILL know.... |
I knew some of you people more than others, would like hate Halloween III but Im sure you are very misunderstood or your just pretty much Pussi**.
|
Yeah I love H3. Used to hate it but as a horror movie it was really good.
|
I have to agree on 976 evil, while I didn't hate it as much as any of those on MY top 6, I remember it being a stupid, trashy, very boring movie.
I didn't mind motel hell, although I thought it was pretty stupid - I think that was kinda the point with that one though.., it's just a certain "type" of horror movie - I put this one in the same league as Microwave massacre, and Crawlspace...all just "ok" kinda wierd, kinda funny... |
The village
Jason x House of the dead resident evil 2 secret window there are 5 recent ones... i dont count low budget shit because its pointless ... to me the badness of a film is in direct proportion to how much money was spent on it - who made it -etc. (i.e. they should have known better.) and how pissed i was during and after seeing it. Each one of these above was a waste of my time ... Stupid films. if you are 12 and these are the first horror films you've seen then sure .. you might like them. But if you've seen a number of them ... i cant understand why you would even consider them passable time wasters .. they were each an insult to the viewer. |
