Sometimes I think that I'm the only person in the world who ever saw the show 'Whoops'...It was about life on Earth after a nuclear explosion....Radiation mutated most of the plant and animal life...Believe it or not, it was a comedy, and it was HILARIOUS.....Anyway...These 6 survivors, who were strangers (except for one couple) met up at an old farm...They had to try to make due with whatever was left on the planet, grow food in irradiated soil, which produced lots of strange funny shit, and try to get along with each other, even though they had huge differences of opinions....One time they had to fight off a 200 foot chicken that was trying to eat them....I fucking LOVED that show...I really miss it...

I've never even heard of it! When was it on?

juanhacko 12-09-2004 06:16 AM

I haven't thought about it for a long time, but the mention of Hymie, the robot reminded me of another robot who was on the show a couple of times. Octavia the robot was played by Gayle Hunnicutt, the "British" actress that sat next to me in homeroom my senior year at R.L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas--in 1961.

Small world!

I just did a couple of searches (I'm not completely computer literate so I can't think of what else to do), but came up with nothing.

It seems to me that there has to be something for television that is equivalent to the IMDB for movies...Actually, I'm pretty sure that there is...I'm just not familiar with it...

To Taylor's Mommy--

Get Smart, with Don Adams and Barbara Feldon, was on TV in the middle 60's--64-65 I believe.

I've read the book--The Legend of Hell House--but I've never seen the movie--It's one of those things you intend to do and never get around to it.

Gayle Hunicutt, besides starring in Hell House was in PJ, with George Peppard, and Eye of the Cat with Michael Sarrazan--and she was J.R.'s first wife, who surfaced for a short time near the end of "Dallas" our notorious nighttime soap.

Thanks for the tidbits!! As for Legend, I highly recommend it - you really should run out and get it. Fabulous movie!

those were classic .... i hope they do a DVD boxset
great comedy from a bygone era .. almost everyone in
them is dead now.

Vodstok 01-21-2005 03:33 AM

The drew carrey roast they had on comedy central was pretty funny... Then they decided they needed to to everyone's every year, and they killed it.

Although hugh hefner's was pretty good.
Ice Tea got up and started saying "I'm going to fucking kill every one of you motherfuckers..." trying to be funny. He wasnt.

Then Gilbert Godfried gets up there, and in his voice, starts saying "I'm going to kill every one of you motherfuckkers...." HE was a fucking riot.

Michaels Shape 01-23-2005 05:24 AM

This show is still on but if they took it off it would suck ass....Whos Line Is It Anyways?

urgeok 01-24-2005 11:44 AM
