If you don't like it, I'll send you a recipe for some great chicken salad!
But I hope you like it, because I really don't want to give up that recipe.

Listening right now, fortunato, and this was worth the wait. The Maniac intro is pure genius. A great balance of instrumentals, retro music, and old favorites. 4.5 out of 5 stars: I hope we will hear more from the DJ in future episodes!

Hey, thanks so much! I was going to have some DJ spots in there this year, but my mic broke last month. :/

Dr. Shock was a horror movie host in Philadelphia when I was a kid. He lived down the street from me, and I went to high school with his older daughter. He was on every Saturday.

One of my favorites of recent times. If NEW Radio was online this October, this would have been one of my requests to play.

Next month I am going to see Goblin twice, once with them playing at the Melbourne townhall and they will be using the grand organ there which is absolutely huge!

The second show is at a cinema where they will play the Suspiria soundtrack live to the movie. How awesome is that!

One of my favorite local bands, they will be supporting Goblin when I see them next month.

That have that 70's/80's horror movie soundtrack sound.

neverending 10-16-2012 07:00 PM

Very cool, Disease! I'd love to see both shows!

Happy Halloween to NEW Radio, the insane Uncle Ozma, and all the wonderful listeners in the years passed.

Soozan 11-02-2012 07:40 PM

Good choice V!
Hope you had a great Halloween. I sure missed y'all in the NEW chat!
Night before Halloween, I watched Rosemary's baby all the way through for the first time in many moons.
I had forgotten just how evil creepy the movie played out.
Stay away from the chocolate mouse!

Thanks, Soozan. Hope you enjoyed your Halloween as well. Sure missed the fun times in chat this year.

One final parting track, in memory of NEW's Halloween Broadcast in the years gone by...

Until next year.

MichaelMyers 11-05-2012 07:38 AM

Will be interesting to see if Lee has the time and resources to revive NEW next year.
