I welcome both groups - The Zombie Titans and The Blazing Hellspawns - to the first Battle Royale IV Challenge.

Before that, let me remind all that EACH ONE of you now carries a bullseye on your back...from now on, your survival in Battle Royale solely depends upon how you fare as a team (in the beginning), and as an individual (in the later stages).

Knowledge is not the only weapon which will see you pass these challenges...it will be a test of your integrity, character, stamina, survival instincts AND sheer cunning as a participant.

So, without further ado, here is THE FIRST CHALLENGE OF BATTLE ROYALE IV :-




There are 200 points up for grabs in the above challenge. In addition, a VERY SPECIAL BONUS PRIZE will be given to those participants who can FIND THE COMMON LINK between the characters listed above.

The deadline for sending your entries ends on Tuesday, 18th September, at 12 Noon EST.

You may either send me your entries via PMs, or you may email me at [email protected], mentioning your HDC Nickname in the Subject along with the Challenge number, for e.g., "Dara - HDC Battle Royale IV Challenge #1 Answers."

You may confer within members of your own team in your quest for the right answers, as you may scour the web for them as well, but each Battle Royale participant should send in their own individual entries.

Also, ONLY THE FIRST ENTRY per participant will be counted. So, make sure to proof-read and check/re-check your answers before sending it off through PM/e-mail to me.

Remember, team spirit is a surefire winner in this Challenge.

And if the characters happen to be in more than one film, you want all the films or just the film where they were a main character?

Just the main character films. I am sure those films are unique, and shouldn't be recurrent - specially for the common connection between them. ;)

And now for the SHOCKING PENALTY for the losing team of HDC Battle Royale IV - Challenge #1 :-


In case your team fails in this Challenge, all 10 members will be given a BATTLE AXE.


The team will then be led into the Battle Royale Hunting Zone grounds and let free, where they will hunt EACH OTHER down and choose someone from their own team as a target for their Battle Axe.
That is, they will send me a PM or email telling me which own team member they choose to be the recipient of their Battle Axe's swing/hack.

4 hacks will KILL a person.
Which means, the contestant who receives 4 hacks will DIE, and so be OUT of HDC Battle Royale IV.

The lifeline - the points you score individually. There are 10 individual points to be scored here. 5 points are equal to a health-pack, which will negate the effects of 1 hack. You might survive, but you will be WOUNDED.

1 hack - WOUNDED,
2 hacks - BLEEDING,
3 hacks - CRITICAL,
and
4 hacks - DEAD and OUT.

So, which means, even if you end up Wounded OR Bleeding in this Challenge, you WILL CARRY the injury inside of you into the NEXT challenge!

Be mindful.

Think of this:-

Even when being a part of a team, you are alone and have to defend yourself. Hence, choose your tactics wisely. Asking for answers from a team-member MIGHT result in a negative reply (because he/she values his/her survival too). So my friends, you are basically on your own, yet the group's survival and best chances are YOUR best chances of survival too. So, trust your group, but don't trust them ENOUGH. It works either way. ;)

Think twice before choosing to trust someone, more so when you make someone your ally...rely on tact, and a lot of shrewdness.

Wow...I already have 3 entries with me already! Some of you are MIGHTY FAST in finding answers, I must admit.

Just to clarify again (in continuance to Straker's query) - in case a character is in more than 1 film, pick the one in which he/she is a main character, and not a supporting one. The common link (in case you find it) will clarify that easily.

Meh, it's my fault. Everyone can try to take me out. I'm a survivor...I can take it. I once fell onto some ice and had to crawl over a mile with a broken tailbone because I lost feeling in my lower body. True story...lol.

Only 90 minutes since the First Challenge was up, and I have no less than TEN entries in with me already!!! :eek:

Some of you are answer-seeking maniacs, I must admit.

And out of the 10 entries which scorched the cables on their way to me, SIX are from the HELLSPAWNS and FOUR from the TITANS!

Looks like this one is going to the wire. Keep biting your nails, people!
