fluffho 05-22-2004 12:49 PM

just an update.. the TV finalyl came in today

impressed? meh. oh its a hitachi ultravision digital 50 "

wel my mom s watching TNT right now and its in widescreen format. however i was watching cartoon network last night and it had a bar on both sides (right and left) cuz im guessing cartoon network is in regular screen format.

but then again, it could just be some setting. i know that with the HDTV u need some sort of tuner. i never was one to read instructions (im a push a button and see what happens type of chick)

BUT i will say its definitely nice to have a big tv again!! i was gettin tired of that fuckin 10incher......

hmmm, normally 10 inches is a good thing..

......someones mind is in the gutter

zwoti 05-22-2004 04:11 PM

escape from new york.

DarkwingMantis 05-22-2004 04:12 PM

High Fidelity...

No. 2 on my top 10 non horror flicks

nine9 05-22-2004 04:17 PM

Ok, sound alittle geeky....... but the new Peter Pan. Heard it was interesting. Hubby didn't want to rent My Little Eye until he knows if it is not crap. Hey, I do see other movies too:(

Horror though is my #1 choice. Blockbuster sucks with having only a few festival flicks, gotta go to Movie Village!

DarkwingMantis 05-22-2004 04:19 PM

Is peter Pan any good. Kinda wanted to check it out?

nine9 05-22-2004 04:22 PM

Heard it was very good, I'll let you know. Read good reviews!

Sistinas 05-22-2004 04:28 PM

I want to see ot too.I love the old Disney version.

nine9 05-22-2004 04:32 PM

Whew!:(

Thought I'd get blasted with this one big time!

I liked Hook too.........I say to be really daring.........

Sistinas 05-22-2004 04:46 PM

There is nothing wrong with some Peter Pan.

nine9 05-22-2004 04:49 PM

Sistinas 05-22-2004 08:17 PM

Is it just me or did anyone else think American Psycho 2 was a pile-o-shit?I do love the first one though.

orangestar 05-22-2004 08:24 PM

I hate almost all Mad TV. Ms. Swan just makes me want to throw things at my TV. But I do LOVE the Steven Segal impression guy.

Copycat, haven't watched this one in a while.

Harry Connick Jr. does a kick ass job in this movie as Daryl Lee Cullum.
