Of course, that's the point of these threads. Not to fight, just discussions and debates.

Your Highness
Anchorman
Equilibrium
Event Horizon (A guility pleasure that I watch once in awhile simply because I want a horror, deep space sci-fi movie and the pickings are slim.)
Pandorum (See above.)
Halloween 2 (As much as I liked how brutal Michael is in the remakes I can't rewatch the second one. God I wanted Laurie to die so incredibly horribly in the first dream sequence.)

I really liked Pandorum. The only other one of that list i've seen is Halloween 2 and that has to be the worst movie i've ever seen in my life. I will never stop hating that movie.

halloween 2
gingerbread man
i spit on your grave
house of the dead
snoop dogg hood of horror

if u have watched a new movie lately and think its rubbish please share.

saw 3d i watched recently and have to say it was awful, the cgi in the movie ruined everything in the movie.
the efects in the previous movies were very good, y i kept watching the movies but this movie just sucked.

I just recently started hearing people say they didn't like Halloween II (the remake). I just don't see how though. I and everyone else in the theatre that night enjoyed it thoroughly. I've been curious as to why people feel that way about it.

neverending 09-15-2011 06:17 PM

For one thing, they turned Loomis, one of the greatest characters in modern horror, into a bumbling, egotistical idiot.

I'm not a Rob Zombie hater- I like his first 2 films- but his remakes are not on a par with his original work.

Posher778 09-16-2011 12:37 AM

I loved the Halloween 2 remake. Mainly because it was really just fucked up.

leezuki 09-17-2011 11:47 AM

apollo 18, i thought this movie was so crap. i was so looking forward to this movie and was let down. not going to say why in case anyone not watched it yet.

leezuki 09-19-2011 01:11 PM

watched a movie called karla today and i thought it was so dull imo. the movie just felt like there was no suspence and i just could not relate with the actors.the movie was based on a real case i have the book which jack ketchum wrote called the weed species which i prefer, alot darker than the movie.

The Villain 09-19-2011 02:33 PM

crazy raplh 10-29-2011 11:31 AM

Mr Halloween was proablly the worst movie and camp hell on the recent times, Hisss is up there

Elvis_Christ 10-29-2011 05:00 PM

Pink Eye is a film that springs to mind for me. Terrible. If you haven't seen it don't.

I've always hated Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things which is weird considering I dig the director's other films. Might be one to re-watch sometime but I doubt I'll get round to it.

Undead was a pile of shit.

Finally someone agrees with me that Wolf Creek was average at best. Hated it and couldn't believe the shit hot reviews it got.

In fact the majority of those type of films really suck just for the fact they have been done to death. People complain about remakes but the modern "abducted, terrorised & escape" cookie-cutter flicks are just as bad if not worse. Shit's just uninspired and I hate how they try to hype themselves up as being more than a typical slasher.

Fearonsarms 11-01-2011 03:52 AM

I think even calling Wolf Creek average is more generous than it deserves. What I hate most as well as the poor characters including one of the most cartoonish and pantomine bad guys I've seen in recent times (I kept expecting him to become Dame Edna Everage and say "hello possums" to the terrorised teens)-it is also incredibly dull, has every cliche in the horror cannon and makes slashers in the 70s and 80s look like intricate art-house but with a pulse and not limpid like this poor excuse for a film. I think Man Bites Dog, Calvaire and Frontier(s) took the whole "adbucted, terrorised and escape" as far as it could go it was foolish to try and replicate these genuine gems with whimsical farce.

leezuki 11-01-2011 08:02 AM

i have to disagree with you both on that, wolf creek was good not great but alot better than alot of the crap is out there at the mo, what more could u want from a seriel killer movie, it delivered the goods for me.
