Now you tell me.

:D

Anyway, DSL was down last weekend so I didn't have the session. I am thinking of the coming Saturday/Sunday same time.

And if nobody has any objections, the same movie? Or do any of you have any other suggestion/demand?

I am all ears. And ready.

This is a great idea.

Do you need to sign up or can we just tune in via the link?

As far as future showings are concerned, I would love to see some classic 50s creature features and some early 80s stuff.

Any news on the job MM?

Sorry about last night. We've been without power/internet on and off because of tornado warning type weather. It's bizarre, really. We normally got about 50 years without any extreme weather conditions and yesterday afternoon an earthquake hit Quebec and radiated down through Ontario and even hit parts of the states. Then the news has tornado warning and the thunder storms suddenly hit everywhere. It was insane.

As for the job... I don't think I got it. They had all these questions and I thought they were just common sense, knowledge based things. Turns out it was a personallity quiz and I failed it. There were answer options that said "appologize to the caller for their distress and blah blah blah" and I picked those most often cause I'm thinking "If I'm on the phone because my 300 dollar iphone is broken I'm likely to be upset, and an appology would make me think the person on the phone was empathetic and willing to help". Turns out I'm too nice and have no backbone and that you should never appologize because that's admitting guilt and puts the product in a bad light.

So I applied for a job where you cannever be too nice... a job working with the elderly. Unfortunately that's going to get weird. My bf's little sister currently works there and I applied thinking we'd work together. Sister in law bonding etc etc. Then I talked to the daughter of the person hiring and she tells me "Thank God. We really need older people for this job because the highschool girl is not working out." So great, she's getting fired and I might get her job.

[/rant]

That's really weird and doesn't make sense at all - When I worked in Customer Service, they wanted us to "show empathy" to the caller, which often meant apologizing for their situation.

I'm sorry, Jenn, that totally sucks. :(

Movie is on for tonight at 9. I'm even putting off fixing my laptop so I know it works for tonight.

missmacabre 06-30-2010 05:24 PM

Apparently no one was able to come tonight. Next week I'll play the same movie just so at least one person will get to see it.

Weapon X 07-01-2010 12:39 AM

Interesting. I'll try to be there next week.

Oops. I didn't see you mention anything about it earlier in the week so I assumed that it was canceled. :o Sorry about that!!

If you're definitely on for next Wednesday, I'll be there.

I watched some of it last week and there were boobies everywhere, if that's what you're asking.

I looked it up, uncut copy is an hour and 20 minutes, this one runs an hour and 23 with the beginning commentary taking up approx. 3 minutes. This was a dvd rip from the box set so it's the unrated, uncut version.

oh no,no,no,no,no.......you must have misunderstood my query. I just don't like to see a movie cut up and butchered.....that is all. Boobies was the farthest thing from my mind......never even gave it a thought....in fact I never really even notice that woman have them........soft ....supple......er....I mean...BOOBIES....What the hell are they anyway.....just fat glands really....nice....firm...er..........nevermind.
