LOL that's hilarious.

that looks like a good place, mmm pan fried scallops.

and lemon bar mix is used in a lot of drinks, look up recipes online and anything that says lemon juice (or sour mix) is actually made with lemon (some cases lime) bar mix. they put lemon juice in the recipes because you can only buy barmix if you own a bar. (that is what I've been told I would think ebay) don't use online recipes though (horrible), ask me please.

Sold, I need some of that, even home-made sour mix doesn't give me a perfect whiskey sour.

I was going to meet Ferox13 for a pint when I was in Dublin, but his slack ass didn't get it together... Still the bar he recomended was pretty good, it even showed the cricket, not something I expected.

Sorry about that :-)

That bar has gone down hill alot since they stated showing sports.

There's a few people I wouldn't mind meeting from here if it was in a safe, public place. Sorry, memories of perverts past make me a little leery of the whole thing.

But the positive thing is that when I meet people in person, I get along with them much better. I know I don't always make sense and get taken the wrong way with the things I say online. I'm terribly sarcastic, and that doesn't always work online. If ya talk to me, on the phone, and especially face to face, I express myself much more accurately.

Maybe we should try to have a horror.com con. Nah, that would take too much planning. :D

But if anyone gets up to the Minneapolis area, we could find something to do. Lots to do in this area. :)

I will let you know:)I'm oing in 2 weeks and i have no idea where i'm going...any suggestions?

missmacabre 08-01-2009 07:53 AM

I plan to meet some HDC people at FanExpo at the end of the month if my friends can get it together cause I wouldn't go alone. It's a 2 hour drive to the convention center so that's not too far at all. I wouldn't really fly somewhere to meet someone though.

As for meeting Psycom, he's right over the border so if it happened then cool. Liking him for his looks is actually probable considering I'm the only one on HDC who knows what he looks like, and I certainly don't like him for his conversational skills.

It still did a good pint and had a good vibe, the cricket was a bonus for me as I couldn't imagine many pubs in Dublin showing it... ;)

It was pretty funny listening to some old Irish guy attempt to explain the game to a few guys as well.... :D

ferretchucker 08-01-2009 10:22 AM

The only thing that takes longer than playing cricket itself is to explain it. YAWN! Now rugby, on the other hand, is a true sport. ;)

I have! We atre good friends now for over a year, exchange texts and visits every once in a while! There are some good poeple in this world after all!!:D

JeffreyDeath 08-02-2009 01:02 AM

Done it

I've met several girls from the interwebz. 3, in fact.

Now, all 3 of these girls were extremely attractive. However, all 3 of them were also insane. One of them still to this day calls and harassers me even though we've been apart for 2 years and I'm married. Our relationship only lasted 2 weeks for cryin' out loud!

But still, if I ever end up on the prowl again, I'd probably do it again. Not to look for anything long term but for a hook-up it's not bad. A lot of people are scared to meet people online but I feel that in 2009 it's not such a bad thing. This is the age of internet communication and online social networking. I think most people are now more educated on what to look for and be aware of when it comes to internet creepos and people posing to be someone else. There will always be the rapists and killers that prey online and succeed in finding bate butat least a proportionate amount of that (greater, probably) happens outside of the net anyways.

Just remember, if the only pictures she has of herself are from up top with a bright ass flash, showing only the bust but never any clear shots of her arms, abdomen or otherwise, she is fat.

Who needs to meet people when you have MSN, where conversations are fruitful and accurately capture each participants emotions and personality.
