Me. meek and timid? LOL That'll be the day. If Darth Bane is a umm "god," then why is he on this forum, instead of out striking people with lightening or something? LMAO!! Do you have any idea of what a jackass you are?

Movies - I like most movies, it is not only horror that interrests me.

I also like to read, well I dont read as many books now as I did before, but sometimes its pretty cool to read a really great book, comic or magazine. I especially like Stephen Hawking, but I also read more lighter stuff, hehe

Science is also one of my greater interests. Ive loved it since I was a kid, and I really love astro and meta physics. I am not all crazy about the whole math in it, but I really love reading theories and making up my own based on what I know and understand.

I also love games. Console or PC it doesnt matter all that much. RPG, RTS, FPS you name it, as long as its not games like Britneys Dance Beat or Eye Toy, then I'm all for it :p
I am also a PC geek if anyone was wandering...

I play the piano when I have the time. I have a Roland RD-170, really great digital piano ;) I play things like The Heart Asks Pleasure First, The Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise, but mostely I like playing everything, as long as it keeps me entertaint..

Just some of the interests, I have more, but the once I've written are the once that takes most of my time :)

On the contrary, AOL is MANUFACTURED in hell. :)

Not if you let it be taken from your jugular vein...

On the matter of troll... best way to hunt them is ignore them. You'll find that they get bored and move on to their next bridge to live under until life forces them out into message board forums where they gobble on shiot that they serve up to derail threads and self satisfy themselves. Begone trolls!!

Hmmm...

Getting better on topic, I'd say I'm a solitary Wiccan. After studying and practicing several differing religions during my life until now ... I believe in the healing forces of Nature and enjoy walking and hiking, hunting and fishing...but I rarely go for anything of this world.

I like to read and believe in a variety of myths that I won't bother to go into now. I am a fairly well educated man, and I suspect, if you'll excuse me for this observation; From reading this thread, I am the elder here...whatever that is worth.

I like horror, primarily because I've faced it several times in my life. You can't lose a loved one without seeing some fashion of its ugly face.

You wouldn't see this side of me in physical conjunction with me, unless you got to know me. I am a person of many inner levels to my personality. All mostly good...unless pushed to the point of absolution and your doom. Please don't make me dare your soul.

I have a horrothon I'm putting together in upstate New York.
Maybe you'd like to hear more of it sometime? It really is going to become something to equal ... if not surpass the present horror events embracing the genre.

Okay, I've talked too much. Ignore those trolls and let us converse.

Wicked Lady 04-03-2004 10:17 PM

hmmm interest's other than horror??..I can't imagine

Haunted 04-04-2004 10:42 AM

Daring_Souls, I've been a practicing Witch for ten years now. It's interesting that another member of the forums turns out to be Pagan in some degree or another.

Also, I think sometimes, that people in up-state New York are fortunate. It's Goddess' country there. I've even had the delightful pleasure of hiking in the Adarondaks (I totally fucked the spelling there.

Good to have you on board.

Stuff

I have a dog who I love, but also 4 cats, and I definately am more of a catwoman!

I love horrors & festival flicks the best.

Have trouble sitting for two hours straight at the theatre, so mostly see movies on DVD. ADD Maybe? But see the ones you must see on screen, like The Ring!

Love kids, but glad I don't have them!

Love to read. Stephen King or classics are favorite, but I also like philosophy!

I am a true introvert and proud of it!

Glad to make some new friends on line though!
Nough about me though.........................

XFeaRX 04-08-2004 09:51 AM

I really enjoy playing basketball and football. I play on the JV basketball team in my school. I am point guard. I play football for fun and I usually play Wide Reciever or Running Back because I am fast. I like to play videogames on my Xbox. I especially enjoy playing football and basketball games like NBA Street Volume 2, NBA Inside Drive 2003 and 2004, Madden 2002, 2003, 2004, ESPN football and basketball. I also enjoy shooter games like Halo. In terms of movies other then horror, I enjoy watching war movies, modern and historic. War movies I enjoyed were saving private ryan, black hawk down, braveheart (one of my favs), the first knight, Helen of Troy (mini series), gangs on new york, and the patriot. I am looking forward to Troy and The Alamo. I like writing stories as well. I have written 143 stories that I keep in a notebook. Most of them are crappy stuff but some I wrote I am really proud of. I like writing about war and violence and stuff of that nature. I like reading, but only if the book excites me. I am very picky when it comes to reading. If it gets boring after a while, I usually lose interest and stop reading. I have just began reading the Stephen King books and I really like them (trying to stay off horror but it is hard!:( ). Hmmm, what else...? Well that is about it. Thanks for playing! :)

"Chewbacca or whatever the hell your name is, what time is it over there, should'nt you be at work? Running some sort of kangaroo park."

- You claim to be over 30? I'd be ashamed if I were you....but then again, If I were you, I'd be smart enough to...you're obviously quiet happy wallowing in your own stupidity.
It's 4am here at the moment....I should be working?
I guess assembly line jobs like yours must start about then...
Besides, I'm presently a student and working part time....studying, to make sure I never come across as half as stupid as you.

Thanks Kitty, it's a little old. I've got several, but that's one of my favorites. I was just a bit younger then. I need to get a more recent one. I still look just about the same, though. LOL

Other than horror I like movies, reading Stephan King novels and the paranormal. Paranormal is my all time favorite.

Haunted 04-08-2004 12:43 PM

Yeah, I like studying the paranormal.

nine9 04-08-2004 07:24 PM

Paranormal

Love all that stuff too! Really like researching ghosts and hauntings. Ever seen the scariest places on earth [TV show]? Linda Blair hosted. Pretty cool. Especially liked the one about the island off of italy, with the abandoned asylum.

I've got books on everything.

i loved that show. i like reading about strange things. my fav episode was the one of the chateau and the priest then joined the ocult.

i too have a ton of books on the paranormal

cheebacheeba 04-09-2004 05:18 AM

Haunted, bg2...They had a show filmed here at renowned "haunted" locations around the island...
They had a host of paranormal scientists of different descriptions explaining certain "phenomena", and cams on eight different people during nights spent in these locations, all split up.
The show was funny, as the hosts of the show...(as well as capturing certain "unexplained" kinda stuff) in order to see different reactions, deliberately started fucking with them, simulating indoor and outdoor sounds, voices, and they even did temperature drops...
Was interesting that certain ppl started freaking out, some in the same locations as the others "felt" shit...

nine9 04-09-2004 07:22 AM

Haunted etc.

I've been trying to remember the chateau episode, it sound familiar. I really miss this show they took it off the channel we have a while ago. I can never get enough of this stuff. Bugs my husband, he hates lisrening to the people scream!

I wonder if the Austrailian show has ever been broadcast here. There is a show I've seen with scientists taking people to investigate haunted places, I've seen this a few times on Sat. or Sun. afternoon. I can't remember if it was Australian though.

I would sure LOVE to live in Australia. Really interested since I read the book "Mutant Message Down Under". Great book ! About a woman that gets taken on a walkabout and learns fascinating things from the aboriginal people living in the Outback.
Also loved "Rabbit Proof Fence"!

Wow, did I get off topic!

Haunted 04-09-2004 08:24 AM

nine9. I think the Scariest episode that you're talking about is the one they went to Lucedio in northern Italy. It was a monastery where crimminal Satanic acts were supposedly occuring in the Middle Ages. The family that went couldn't take it.

I think this is one you're talking about. If it's not, well, it was my favorite anyway. :)

nine9 04-09-2004 08:35 AM

Scariest......

Thanks! yes that was a great episode. Wish I could see some of those places. I know in England there is a tour of haunted places like The Tower of London. If I ever have the money..............
