Characters are emerging and that's good. If you keep going in this direction, you'll do well. Just keep remembering that plot should be influenced by character and not vice versa and you'll be fine. Life doesn't yank you down the street to the store, you get hungry and decide to go.

I was planning to write an episode today but I just finished writing an essay for school and I really don't feel like writing anymore. Hopefully I'll have on up tomorrow.
