Prey is actually a very fun game. You basically can never die.You go to this spirit world then after a few seconds you start in the exact same place you left of from.

I played the demo, and I thought it was pretty good.

I think my next trip will be:

Prey
Quake 4
Crackdown
The Outfit
Call Of Duty 2

DO NOT under any circumstances purchase Quake 4. Its terrible. The graphics are way behind its time, the environments are repetitive and claustrophobic, weapons are boring, AI is stupid. Its almost identical to Doom 3, except way worse and minus the scares. go for Crackdown though. good fun.

Last Purchased Games:
The Godfather (360)
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (360) - for $4.50!

I played a demo of it. It didn't seem that bad. But then again, I never played any of the DOOM series. I stopped playing games around the time DOOM 3 came out, and I never went back and picked it up. I watched my EX play it...Though it didn't really look all that interesting for some reason.

I did the exact same thing... Piece of crap gameplay.

Not to mention, when trying to play Co-Op, it does stuff really weird. It splits you up all freaky, and it just doesn't work.

ChronoGrl 07-26-2008 03:31 PM

For myself, I just bought Condemned 2: Bloodshot for the 360.

And for the boyfriend...

Ugh...Turok. I never liked that series.

I need to finish playing the first Condemned. After I got Bioshock, I forgot about it.

lol. The boyfriend LOVES the Turok games. He played it for the original Xbox and he simply HAD to get it for the 360... I haven't played it myself, though.

And, as you predicted, I DO find Condemned to be pretty horrifying, though the graphics are absolutely gorgeous and I like the way the controls handle.

Now if only I could grow some balls.

HIO! ;)

Just ordered Condemned: Criminal Origins

Considering buying Dead Rising. Anyone play it? My only concern is that it's ONLY zombie-killing (albeit CREATIVE zombie-killing) and that it can get boring and repetitive.

I'm playing through that right now.

I have Dead Rising. The only thing that really gets under my skin with it, is the fact that you can't stop and save half way through. You have to either play it all at once, or start from the beginning every time you want to play it. Not bad otherwise though....I forgot to mention the constant load screens.

VampiricClown 08-10-2008 08:58 AM

Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Crackdown
Assassin's Creed
Tomb Raider: Legend
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

You can save anytime buy going to a bathroom or in the office where your safe house is.

Does it save where you can pick back up? And where is the bathroom? I can't seem to find it.

Anything marked with a big S on your map is a save point.

Call of Duty: World at War

I won't get it until Nov. but Amazon had it mispriced for $19.99 and by the time I got around to posting it here it was already changed back. Haha, serves them right to screw up the price on such an anticipated game.

I've been playing the Tomb Raider game most of the afternoon. Mostly because it had the most scratches, and I wanted to make sure it works. I've almost finished it. I'll probably be done with it tomorrow.

Oddly enough, while playing it, it makes me think of how many similarities there are between it, Assassin's Creed and Prince Of Persia. It's all almost exactly the same.

I played Crackdown for about 2 hours yesterday. That game is pretty wild. I'm going to plug it in today, after I finish up Tomb Raider.

ChronoGrl 09-07-2008 02:27 PM

Got a $25 gift certificate on Amazon. Picked up

http://www.my360.com.au/img/news/Dead-Rising-Cover.jpg

among some other things.

Been meaning to grab this one for a while. Looks pretty entertaining.

What do you think of Condemned 2? I think it's a bit cleaner than the first one and that it's a fantastic little game. LOVED the CSI element to it.

And what do you think of Assassin's Creed? Can't seem to really get into that one.

Condemned 2 is alright. I honestly liked the first one better. Not quite as "paranormal", with all the demons and what not. Not to mention the one freak baddie. The first one was much scarier. Especially since you couldn't use your fists.

Assassin's Creed is a great game. Though after a bit of playing, it becomes very repetitive. Still something I really enjoy though. I'm a lot into the free roam of things.

I don't mind the repetitive nature of the game (I kind of expected it) but I can't stand all the blabbering in the game. Just let me kill people!

Freak 09-13-2008 05:48 PM

Bought TNA Impact yesterday and snapped the disc in half today. This is the worst game in the history of games. It's almost impossible to beat an oppenent. They reverse everything and you cant reverse a thing.Plus after working to build up your finisher you perform it and the guy pops right back up punches you once you fall down and then he pins you with out any effort.Stay away from this game at all cost.Dont buy it,dont rent it,dont even borrow it for free.TNA has just lost a big fan becasue of this game.I'm gonna mail the broken pices back to the company with a big fat turd in and a bill for all the stuff that got broken because of this garbage game.I'd rather cut off my manhood than to ever play this again.

The reason I broke the disc is that hopefully I can spare some poor soul the agony of having to play it.I wouldn't wish the game on anyone, not even a terrorist.Even they dont deserve that kind of punishment.

Very strange...You don't like all the talking bits in this, but you don't mind it in Half-Life....

Really?

Never played the original, but so far it looks like an action packed version of one of the newer Grand Theft Autos.

it got pretty awful reviews by the critics, but the player reviews are a little bit better from what I've read. still not that great though.

I find that very odd. Seriously.

I've played it for about 5 hours now and i think the gameplay is just great.

You can do just about everything that you get to do in GTA5. You just get to do it all MUCH sooner.

The only downside is the actors and their lines. Especially the dialogue is quite cliche and bad.
