Deniro's only good horror film was Cape Fear & that was more along the lines of suspense/thriller anyways....

Ken Foree, on the other hand, is the muthafuckin' MAN when it comes to horror!

Since it is screen badass based, and since the Man with No Name series could win Franchise tournament, I will say De Niro. Taxi Driver does examine punk ethics and explore a man becoming unhinged. Taxi Driver is not just AFI material, but also a violent cult classic.

Rod nailed it. Remember, you have to judge the star on the basis of their contribution to the horror genre and its popularity, NOT their overall careers. Ken could never beat Bob DeNiro in an Actor's Tournament, but in a Horror Actor tournament, things are very different.

So we're not entitled to our own opinions? If you already know what the "right" answers are, why bother having the tournament?

I believe he's just trying to say it should be chosen based on their contributions to horror films and not their entire careers, not saying which candidates you should vote for, but everyone has their opinion and can vote for who they want.

Gee whiz, never...did I say that? Of course you are entitled to your opinion and judgement.

I was pointing out that this is a Horror Stars tournament for those who feel confused about who to vote for, and what should be the criteria for it...since I got some PMs asking me for the same.

Feel free to vote for anyone you feel deserves your vote...you are not bound for anything or anybody.

Sam Neill - he is far more familiar to me as far as horror goes.
