hmm....I thought the original was decent enuff, and going by what I ve been reading and hearing about pt.2, it wont be disappointing. Tarantino should deliver again, and the poster looks interesting.

Again, to wait and watch and judge. Not going by the hype again.

According to a magazine i have Hostel 2 isn't released until June 7.:cool:

I'm really not following this, and I probley won'tgo and see it at theaters. It's the same movie pretty much he just switches the characters around and their girls instead of guys. Does this mean the first hour of the movie are going to be nothing but floppy cocks? No thanks i'll pass.

I thought it was a great movie. I read that the sequel that's coming out soon will begin right where the 1st one left off. The baddies are supposedly persuing Jay Hernandez after his victory over that one-eyed jackass.

I thought the first one was a total piece of talentless shit...I saw the preview of #2 at the 300, looks like the exact same crapola to me.

Most of what I didnt like about Hostel was the start, so for me Hostel 2 may be of more interest. I like the basic plot and was asking myself during the first Hostel "How do they get the girls there?" I am interested and will most likely watch Hostel 2. You never know it might be a chance for them to improve.

i think the first hostel fucking blew. the story was a bit to be desired and there wasn't nearly enough blood and gore. don't get me wrong the "eye torch" scene was pretty sweet but it wasn't up to my expectations. i'll give the new one a watch but i'm pretty skeptical about this!

I don't know much about horror movies,:( can you name a few good horror flicks from the last six or seven years that had more blood & gore?:)

the first 3 hellraiser flicks are good ones and dead alive also. dead alive is a little slow getting started but like the last half hour to 45 minutes make it totally worth it!

After reading the article about Hostel 2 in the May issue of Fangoria, I hate Eli Roth even more than I did previously. He was talking about one of the characters in reference to "that guy who killed all of those Amish girls." Hostel wasn't any sorts of great, and the guy thinks he's the most amazing thing to ever happen to horror.

That sounds good to me!

Just saw the trailer to Hostel2 DVD release. It's pretty much the most disgusting and sick short clip ever. There's this site the distributor set up http://www.bloodvault.com with lots of clips from the film. Clips beyond gory, really sick. Try and keep a straight face watching the bath scene.
