Rob Zombie is Directing it, I have faith that it will be better than the 8th.:)

EarthSlayer 11-03-2006 05:28 PM

I think Halloween one is a very boring movie. To me it amounted to Jamie Lee Curtis running around yelling help all night long zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
While she was and still is a hottie that gets boring pretty quick w/ o a movie to carry it somewhere. I know there are a lot of people that think it's great but it did nothing for me. I also saw parts of three it also blows. I did like H2O though.
Anyway you can all get hostile now if you like but thats my opinion.

The STE 11-03-2006 09:24 PM

Jeff Foxworthy could direct it and it would be better than the 8th

We have, just helping a returning poster out. ;)

top-gunner 11-04-2006 07:52 PM

i think the first one is the best....not only the best of the series but one of my fave movies ever

GetrDone 11-04-2006 10:33 PM

H2O is probably my favorite. its close between that one and the original but it has the edge.

Any? Not even the original?

Man - you're missing out. I havent seen many of the sequels yet myself, but the original is classic!

Don't skip 3 or 8. Resurrection (Part 8), while being the crappiest of the series, still has some very vital storyline events take place. Part 3 is the only one with no trace of Michael Myers in it. It is a completely seperate story so just don't go in to it expecting Michael Myers and you won't be let down. It's a cool film, it just doesn't really belong in the series.

The F13 & Halloween sets were both nice. The NOES one was PAL so it does not play in color on my DVD player here in the US. (I wish they had labeled that in their auction a little better, but oh well. I already have the American NOES boxset anyways.)

pinkerton 01-29-2007 10:01 PM

Yeah, listen to bwind22 and watch them all.Don't listen to one assholes opinion, make your own.:)

You may be cool but that above statement had now made you unworthy to me to talk about any halloween movies (except season of the witch). jason is, and always will be a ripoff of Michael. Even it's creator has admitted that.

can't get enough gore 02-01-2007 12:35 PM

this sound interesting but lets hope it releases officially non bootleg

Gus 02-01-2007 05:36 PM

cool , id give you a twenty piece of rock for that

ferretchucker 02-02-2007 09:01 AM

if you look carefully, theygot resurection and H20 mixed up.

alicefan 02-03-2007 03:27 PM

i hope they release it officially sometime soon too

Halloween II dvd question

How long is this version? http://www.itsonlyamovie.co.uk/EVEN%...02%20(DVD).jpg

Gus 02-05-2007 09:09 AM

1hour
33 minutes

Rob Bottin 02-05-2007 12:12 PM

Thanks but dvdcompare.net says:

CUTS:
R1 America - (Goodtimes) - No cuts
R1 America - (Universal Pictures) - No cuts
R2 United Kingdom - (Castle Home Video) - (Castle Home Video) - Cut by 17 seconds during the scene where Michael dunks a nurse into a boiling Jacuzzi. The final two thrusts under the water have been removed, a close up of her burnt face and then Michael throwing her naked body to the floor. This is the version I links to but on IMDB they say that Sanctuarys realese is uncut whic CHīs realese ainīt and Sanctuarys is 88 mins.
R2 United Kingdom - (Sanctuary Digital Entertainment) - No cuts - all previous cuts waived
R4 Australia - (Infogrames) - No cuts

the_real_linda 02-05-2007 12:19 PM

i was in hmv today and there was a dvd with nothing on and a dvd with some pantsy extras...ill look tommorow to see running time

alicefan 02-05-2007 03:55 PM

it is a pretty good film

Rob Bottin 02-06-2007 06:42 AM

Oh I also forgot to rip this from dvdcompare yesterday, Note, that all DVD-releases (UK-release by "Castle Home Video" is cut) are 89 min (PAL)/93 min (NTSC) -versions. No "longer TV-version" available on DVD yet. More info about the "TV-version":
http://www.geocities.com/madnessmike...alloween_i.htm

ferretchucker 02-06-2007 09:49 AM

in the version i got there are no cuts. At least i dont think there are. It's hard to tell. It get's annoying when they cut a really good bit out. Like on little shop of horrors, the original ending was when they took over earth but then a few years later they said it was too depressing so they remade it.

Rob Bottin 02-08-2007 10:56 PM

ferretchucker, how long is it and which region is it?

ferretchucker 02-09-2007 02:21 PM

1 hour 31 min - pal colour - england.
