I just wanted to bump this for the newer members...Especially since things have changed a bit...I figure the first impressions/experiences may be a little different now...

I remember all of the "fuck you's". God, do I miss the good ol' days! :( ;)

Holy shit! I can't believe that I never posted in this thread until now, and I joined just a few weeks after Bloodrayne. I came in one week, one week! after the Freddy Fan incident. People were still giving props to AMK.

Like Rayne, I never posted in the New Members Forum. That must have been something instinctual. However, I bopped in here at the heart of The Ravenbomb Wars.

Here are two things that I remember:

I used to end my messages with "cheers." To this very day, I have no idea why I didn't get flamed. I still feel like a 'tard for doing that.

How I became friends with Bloodrayne... Arioch made a post about how Rayne was feeling depressed. Two days later Rayne made a post asking folks how they would commit suicide. So, I PM'd Rayne to see if she was okay. I mean, the feeling down thread, and the suicide thread kinda freaked me out. So I was like, are you okay, and she said that she was fine. We've been chatting ever since.


Them were the days.:D

Yeah...And my Suicide thread was completely relevant and awesome...It NEVER got derailed or even went off track until SFF got pissed because her Fist-Fucking thread was deleted, so she started fucking my suicide thread saying it was just as irrelevant as her FF thread...I tried to explain to her that:

Suicide=Death
Death=Horror

But that fist fucking had NOTHING to do with horror....Try to remember, that was when ALL of our threads and conversation were about HORROR...And, before we had threads about poop, and everything else you can imagine:rolleyes:

She still never figured it out...And eventually got my suicide thread deleted...I believe AMK deleted it...I don't know why she didn't just delete SFF's posts...The thread itself had almost 200 RELEVANT replies before SFF even joined the forum....Actually, we lost a LOT of good threads because of her...


BTW...You DID know that Sam was Ravenbomb, right?...And the second person in the HISTORY of Horror.Com to ever be banned...He was banned by Horror himself:cool:

Your suicide thread was really neat. SFF...what a fucking CASE! I mean she would pick a fight with everybody. Goddess forbid that I came her woman to woman and told her to cool it. She jumped all over me.

ahh the good old days - i think i came in just as things were hitting their high point (and about a year before the big crackdown). . . what i mainly remember is every new member (and i never posted in "new members") was flooded with "STFU" and "Fuck Off" the minute they made a peep


So, while things were more dramatic back then, i'm fairly happy not to be bombarded with vicious obscenities on a daily basis (i get enough of that when I drive)

Ohh it was vicious...a typical newbie intro post would read: "Hi I'm so and so,I'm 12 years old and I like this and that and hope to make many friends here. :) "

There would always be few warm welcomes but undoubtly they would be blasted with "STFU" and "Up Yours" and "Die Newbie" *wipes tear from eye in found rememberance*...those were the days.:rolleyes:

I flamed a bunch of people and got banned for "suggesting" that someone was molested to the point of retardation.

Hmm, I've been here a little over a year. For those who don't know, I joined under a different name - Taylorsmommy. Since Taylor (my cat) passed away, I figured it was time for something different because it was making me sad seeing his name and picture all the time.

When I registered I was bitched at by Sistinas/Chaplain for "stealing his name". My entire new member thread turned into a quite entertaining fight. This seems to have led to the series of accunts made by him mimicing my name, and posting all the cock pictures everywhere. Everyone got all pissed off, I got banned, and my new member thread was deleted. Still don't know why I came back:)

Oh yeah, to top it all off everyone thought I WAS him. It was great.
