its been a game since the day the massive bannings happened, alot of other members simply just left for fear of expressing their opinions and being banned as well. the mod in question is not being chastised for moderating skills. Moderators are needed here, and there are excellent ones busting their asses to keep things in order.

The moderator in question is being chastised for his weakness, that unfortunately is compensated with the courage of a ban button in his mod box. you would be able to get the information as to why so many of us are pissed at this one in particular, but that much like his dignity has been erased.

Yes I realize its the internet. and that far too many people take things wayyyyy too seriously, but there are alot of people that have met on here and became great friends, we dont all agree with each other, but we dont necessarily hate each other either. the mods were a necessary evil to remove the likes of the racists, porn bots, and site spam whores that plagued the site after it got major publicity because of the "youthful indiscretion" of a fellow member.

I'm not 100% sure what point you are trying to make...but I will just say this:

I think people play certain roles on this forum -- as is the case in real life -- there are assholes, flirts, newbs, intellectuals, punks, jokesters, old people (urgok comes to mind...lol) ;)

Anyway, my point is that as soon as you sign up for a forum...certain members jump out at you for very specific reasons. You can always count on a hand-full (or more) people always there to greet a newb with a warm "fuck you!" I highly doubt that they are like that in real life, but regardless...it is their online persona and I personally embrace everyone for whatever persona they project. I mean, I won't always agree with it...but without the myriad of personalities, than a forum would be dull.

I really don't know what you are referring to when you say "Does the fact that it's a horror forum play any part in this?" But if you mean that because it's a horror forum people tend to be a little mean to newcomers, etc. Then...yes...I think that does play a part. They have a certain horrific image to uphold.

Here is the deal as i saw about half of what happened as it happened....zwoti saw what i didnt and we correlated information (yep, mods that *gasp* talk to eachother)

The bannings could have come from any mod, any where, not just those that mod the general forum....

BUT

There were massive threads moved to the spam folder and deleted for no reason, IN the general forum...i saw this PERSONALLY happen (my "recent aquisitions" thread was one of them)

Now the only 3 people that could accomplish this were Myself, AMK, and Kpropain.....and whoever did it was invisible, although zwoti and i have the ip address....

I cant say if it was AMK or Kpro, i wont speculate further, but i WILL say that i know it wasn't myself, as me and zwoti are the only mods talking to horror and getting this problem resolved.....

Horror is the only one who can see who the bannings and thread deleting was done by, he is checking them now and will resolve the moderator in question.....

Check the moderator forum....
