Oh, and I would add Hellraiser on the modern classic list...

Hellraiser is definitely on the list of modern classics, along with some others I forgot to mention.

Night Of The Living Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, and Day Of The Dead...George Romero is the man...

Also...Psycho and Poltergeist

That sounds good movieman!

A soccer mom is perfect, arranging little bridge parties, while, the bodies...!

Yes, but apart from being progressive, upon research, it was the First Of It's Kind! A True Classic....

Poltergeist!

Excellent!!

"It says things only a child can understand... to her, it simply is another child...
to us, it is The Beast."

The scene where the guy pulls his face off pretty much did it in for me!

The Bad Seed played on TCM last night at 9:15, Ichecked their website and it's not scheduled again until 10/31/04.

I didn't watch it again, because I had already planned on watching The Sentinel, and City of the Living Dead again.

If horror movies need to include evil, then you can't get much more evil than a little girl named Rhoda in "The Bad Seed".

Hey forgot about that one! Yes it was very good! Love it at the end when the cast come in and spank the girl lol!

VoyagerOne 09-13-2004 09:13 AM

Yeah, lol! That was awesome...! A great sort of "in-joke"! And it's great how the announcer's voice gets low on "...as Rhoda."

Halloween, movieman, that's great! I was going to tell some friends to try and catch it then, too, but I didn't have time...!
