Although I see where you may think otherwise from watching the sucky ones, not all slasher movies are mindless bloodfests. Some actually have good storylines and acting. Take Wes Craven's New Nightmare for instance or Silence of The Lambs. Like or or not Hannibal is a unoffical slasher and you know it.

the thing is... how in the world could you possibly create a slasher that would ever be as special as michael, freddy, jason, leatherface, pinhead, etc. ... we'll never have anymore slashers


i do think we'll have a bunch of shitty CG characters.....

the last thing we need is another SLASHER from HOLLYWOOD.
there all the same type of movies, Horny 20somethings run around naked getting killed. I mean i know what you did last summer, valintine, urban legend, there all the same. the killers are not memerable there just stupid. in a way each of the killers are the same as the other. It all started with that god forsaken scream movie. Scream was really the last memerable killer to date(even tho we really dont want to remember him). Its sad really.

Myself, I am personally sick of seeing all these preps and jocks saying there hardcore horror fans cuz they own all three scream movies on DVD. And there actually getting scared from this poor excuse of movie making. I say we bring back the old styles of film making, were somewat there with the help of TCM (remake) lets countinue this, just not with remakes but with new fresh ideas.
Let hollywood give there money to the real tallent, the indie/independent film makers out there who make movies for people like us.

This way everyone will be getting great movies from slashers to zombie movies.

Not to mention Freddy vs. Jason. :rolleyes:

Dude its not real. theres even a whole section about this called "dont you hate when this happens" or something like that. i think its in the classic horror section.

Its somewere around here. anyways one word of advice. never say nor beleive that TCM is a real true to life story. If anyone says diffrent, kill them. people will rip you apart if you sayed this to there face, god knows i would. But im only lookin out for ya.
