I did a search and found this because I wanted to express my hatred for anything M. Night Shyamalan. I really can't stand any of his movies.

There is an air of pretence over his films, especially now he seems to proffer the same smart-arse 'twist revelation' in everything he does.

The Others was a better 'dead' movie than The Sixth Sense, and Unbreakable was also predictable and very overrated.

His films seem to be revered by those who do not normally like to watch horror, but are aroused by 'Hollywood Horror'.

I like his movies...dont love them, dont hate them. Signs is one of the only movies that has ever scared me, The Village was fairly enjoyable until the ending, and I havent seen 6th Sence since it first came out, but I really enjoyed it then.

Lady in the Water looks like a change of pace for him, Im kind of looking forward to it.

I really really enjoyed The Sixth Sense. I thought the story was something new. The ending concept was pretty cool, and Bruce Willis, though a big Hollywood roller, did a great job. Very honest in this movie. Great job. It entertained me immensely, and I never considered it a horror movie in the same way I never considered The Exorcism of Emily Rose a horror movie. Because they weren't.

I don't give a good goddamn what anybody thinks about M. Night's movies; sometimes, he gets off a good one. Although, Signs was a little disapointing.

After The Passion of the Zom...er... The Passion of the Christ, I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Mel the same again. That may be a fault on my part, so I do appologize for that.

I like The Passion of the Christ - it was cinematic, mysterious and spectacularly cruel in places (the 'whipping' in particular).

Couldn't care less about the religious side, this was still an epic tale.

The Sixth Sense was a good watch, nothing amazing but a solid movie. Unbreakable I really enjoyed even though it was VERY predictable, I just enjoyed the story and was kind of happy there wasn't a major twist but simply the confirmation of what everybody expected. Signs was alright but was too slow at points and the aliens weren't really the "intelligent life" I was looking forward to. He seems like an ok director but you can only try so hard before a twist becomes a bad ending. I do hate his appearances in his movies though (Unbreakable wasn't too bad but Signs... that was horrible). I did enjoy the Robot Chicken sketch at his expense; "WHAT A TWIST!"

I like M. Night for trying to bring a little mystery and twist into Hollywood. He hasn't really failed or succeeded.

The Sixth Sense- Excellent. Think about it- the twist was great and fresh at the time it came out.

Unbreakable- Haven't seen it. I hear it's a bit of a bore.

Signs- Fun sci-fi thriller. I liked it.

The Village- Haven't seen it, but from what I hear...it blows.

So I still have faith in the man. Every director has his bad movies and his good movies, and M. Night has just started his career. Don't jump on the bandwagon, give him a chance.

I even liked the village to be honest. :o (even though it was directed at the wrong audience, it was faaaaaaar from a horror movie)
