I still stand by my love of the FPS, so in my perfect game, that would be the go...however, it would be WAY cool if they actually bought out a game that let you choose your perspective...perhaps it could switch, like, FPS when you had projectile weapons, and 3rd person if it came down to hand-to-hand or melee, of course you'd have to have a totally cool fighting system...auto-aiming ability for their various body parts.
Full 7.1 sound compatability to immerse yourself...
I want axes, loose bricks, baseball bats, mops, zombies that move differently on the basis of what kind of injuries they sustained before death (I wanna see tire tracks on at least one), walkers, runners, crawlers with no legs, zombies that are dead children, animals ASIDE from birds and dogs...and I want them to keep coming at you until you like, TOTALLY fuck them up, and weapons, I want 'em to be able to use simple weapons.
I wanna loot shops for weapons, I wanna cut arms and legs off to see the zombies still dragging themselves after you leaving gory trails of blood guts and even decomposing trails of rancid shit, I wanna beat a head in with a tyre iron, climb through cars and slam body parts in the doors - I can just see zombie eyeballs popping out if their heads get it...Man, pitchforks, acid filled water balloons, kitchen knives, broken off car doors, hammers WHATEVER - the ability to make and place traps would also be awesome...and at least one scene set in a hardware store, just imagine the improv. weapons potential in there...
How I wish I knew SHIT about making games...
