I voted for Robert Bloch. GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE, PEOPLE!

It is a shame about the absence of Lovecraft. BTW: It was Ira Levin (of Rosemary's Baby fame) who wrote Stepford Wives.
