The only problem with Manhunter was that Anhony Hopkins wasn't in it. Other than that, every other actor was better than their replacement in Red Dragon (except maybe for that weird little blonde-haired kid in Manhunter). I think anybody else who knows anything about horror movies will agree with me.

I really disliked Manhunter. Christ, they didnt even keep the title...
Brian cox is excellent, but I have known Hopkins' Lecter for longer, so thats who i like.
Mann mad eone of my favorite movies (Heat. I LOVE that movie) but Manhunter was too close to his Miami Vice days for me to think too much of it. *0s movies have to have a special something for me to sit through them, Like the Terminator.
