Don't even get me started how much I disliked "Halloween II". The pointless hospital dream sequence, Mother & horse ghost, New child actor, Doctor Loomis character is Hollywood Elite. Teenage girls singing MC5.. I could go on & on.

Rob Zombie Sucks A Big Fat Cock List
1. Shitty Moon Zombie - Putting his wife in lead Roles. Despite the fact everyone know she is the worst actress on the planet. The Yoko Ono effect. You can see Rob thinking "FUCK ! I killed you in the first one... what can I do to get you into the Sequel "
2. Unbelievable Dialogue - All his characters seem white trash with over the top personalities. His characters fill in awful dialogue with cursing, they sound ignorant & unbelievable.
3. Overkill. Since his movies lack depth & plot, Rob's main focus is on gore. The dramatic ways his characters die.
4. B-movie actors - We get it. You like the same movies we like. So use every washed up horror actor... Nothing original.
5. Halloween is a masterpiece - There is very few masterpieces in Horror. But most of us agree John Carpenters Halloween is one of them. Anyone remaking it is only doing us a disservice & not a true fan.

Furthermore, I think Eli Roth, James Wan, Lucky Mckee, are talented and have progressed the genre further. Rob Zombie is a gimmick.

I agree with you completely. This is why i say he can only make one kind of movie and needs to stick to that. Although i disagree with you on him casting his wife. He can put her in every movie he does and in fact i hope he does just so i can look at her. She isnt the best actress in the world although i thought she was good in Devil's Rejects.

i think he tries to hard.he needs to come up with something original of his own instead of remakes and copying other movies.

Once again, he's only made one remake. He's made 2 original movies and his own variation of a different movie as H2 cant really be called a remake. House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects stand out to me more then Halloween does. Every director is allowed a remake.

Anyone who says nay to Rob Zombie clearly has a problem... House of 1000 Courpses, and if thats not proof enough then go watch The Devils Rejects, point proven.

ok not disagreeing he is a good director but like house of thousand corpses when watching it was like i seen it all before, chainsaw masacre, and 50 other horror movies all rammed into one movie.

House of 1000 Corpses- I liked this when I saw it in the theater but each time I watch it now I like it drastically less. The characters in the movie often get annoying and I don't like that it feels like I am watching a 2 hour version of one of his music videos.

The Devils Rejects- Loved this movie, one of the best of the last decade no doubt about it. Its one of the few recent horror movies I have seen that I really have nothing to complain about.

Halloween- I understand what he was going for with this, trying to show Myers childhood, creating the monster, blah blah blah. It was a good idea but it didn't work for me.

Halloween 2- absolute crap, possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. I can't think of any real redeeming quality in H2. I hated the whole white horse, talking to his mom attempt at going into his mind bs modern take on a franchise that doesn't need that type of spin or explanation. The same goes for Friday the 13th (a better remake, but I still have a few issues with it). H2 was bad to the point that I seriously might not see another movie of his ever.

Lucky Mckee has progressed the genre and is a great director for sure but Eli Roth and James Wan? No way. Their films are soulless garbage and fully represent the slump the genre is in.

I wouldnt say soulless garbage. Thats a little harsh. I feel that Saw and Hostel helped kick start horror out of the slump it was in back when they came out. Just because Saw got raped of all its integrity doesnt change how strong that movie was. I see a lot of potential in them and i wouldnt call them masters of the genre or anything but they have contributed in a good way and i see a good future for both of them. Also i have to say i dont think Lucky McKee has really made anything of any merit at all except for Red and that was an adaptation anyway.

i liked the saw movies, well the first 3, then like everything else they killed them off with all the followups.

After all is said and done, no one can argue that House of 1000 Corpses garnered a ton of attention to gore driven horror that would not have been otherwise made. And while the dialogue is sketchy at times, and the characters rely on profanity to get through their scenes, I can think of several directors who had similiar qualms.

John Carpenter's Halloween... "Totally" Dialogue was sketchy at best alot of the time.

Wes Craven's Nightmare On Elm Street... The acting of Nancy's mother was horrible.

Sean S. Cunningham's Friday The 13th... With the exception of Pamela Voorhies, the acting was shite.

All Im saying, in a nutshell, is that even the most iconic directors/movies have their flaws if youre looking for them. What makes movies have fans is the good they find in them. And in all of Rob Zombies movies, the special effects, lighting, sound, and yes gore are all pretty excellent.
