wow you even talk to african americans?
Uhhh....ya racial differences are no reason to not talk to someone IMO. I think by not talking to people from different cultures, different races, and different backgrounds, you shield yourself from different, and often opposing, points of view. It just helps to make you a well rounded human being i think.......again, these are just the sums of MY expierences.

people

Buffho I agree with all you said. Hate those types too!

Honesty is important to me, so I like people who speak their minds but are respectful of other peoples opinions at the same time.

I have friends of all different races, religions, and sexual orientations. Don't care what they look like as long as we get along. I also work in avery diverse environment.

I don't however, appreciate religious fanatics of any kind trying to convert me. I don't come to their door or tell them that their beliefs are wrong. Rude & Disrespectful!

nine- buffho. LOL thats funny

arioch - college so diff than high school huh? wasnt for me. could it be because.... my high school was 40% asian and the college i went to was 50%??? quite possibly!

anyway. freshmen year was shit. i was in an all girl suite. ive never been around so much drama in my life. everyone was mad at someone at some point. they all moved in together THIS year and it got REALLY ugly and they had to do some major switching. and the guys all thougth they were gangsters... the only decent person i met was a white dude named pat who would wear his red polar bear jammies to class. the only problem with him though, is that like me, he never showed up to class. LOL so we only talked twice. a cool dude none the less

the college im at now.... since im taking all cop classes. id say about 70% of the peopel are, if not single mothers, are fathers fighting for custody. PRETTY hard to relate, especially when the majority of them wont keep their mouths shut. im not kidding. in 2 hours we got through 3 pages cuz the idiots wouldnt shut up. there are a few i do get along with however, but hanging outside of school? NO WAY!!

i actually enjoyed high school more. believe it or not! a lot more friends, plus it always ended up that my friends would be in all my class. not to mention it was a lot easier to get A's in hs. lol. i had some kick ass teachers back then too. well, i have some kick ass teachers now tooo so.. whatever!

Hi there!

I thought you would get a kick out of that!

I totally relate! It's been a while since I was in University [that's what we call it here, College is more vocational]. I was a theatre major, so there were a lot of people in my classes who were pretty uptight and thought they were geniuses, or the next Meryl Streep.

I just did my scene rehersals, got down to business, and went home. Very cliquey too. I was in the same class with most of these people for 3 years, had enough by then!

One of these people was in Mulholland Drive, Johanna Stein. Had a bit part, housewife or something. What a snob. Rich family and lots of connections. Me, well I am just an executive Director of a childcare centre. Guess fame eluded me! Didn't have money then, and still don't have much. Childcare is so under valued here!

Oh, and she does some improv stuff in California too.

Hope you make us all proud, I'm sure you will! You sound pretty strong minded!

I thought of saying something clever and about how I have changed and become such a loving person with no prejudices but that would be a bunch of bullshit.

I hate everyone equally.
