I tried Facebook after thinking about it for a long time. Finally joined, and it reminded me of why I wasn't talking to any of my old friends in the first place.

Still the same bunch of jerks they were years back. I ended up setting my status to invisible so none of them would see me on, and then got to thinking, what's the point then?

So, I de-activated my account. If you have old friends you'd actually enjoy talking to, I think it's great.
But if you can't stand them, it is a complete waste of time. IMO.

Making new friends is awesome, but not when you have to lurk to avoid the old ones. It felt like an episode of Seinfeld.

And it seems that sadly, it even got a full article in this month's issue of GameInformer. Bah...

OMG!...I have that magazine laying right beside me, sitting on the printer right now...I picked it up yesterday, and just randomly opened it near the middle, and I saw FARMVILLE!...I couldn't even believe it!...I showed it Alex and he was like "You gotta be kidding me"...I rarely ever play it anymore, unless someone asks me to help them with something

I keep being disappointed that this thread isn't ACTUALLY about the end of the world.
