INT. HORROROPOLIS, UNKNOWN LOCATION.

DANTE'S INFERNO and MASSACRE MAN sit silently, soaked in sweat and shaking in sheer fear. Dante has his fingers between his teeth to stop them from making any chattering sound. But they don' stop from silently drumming on his fingers.

MASSACRE MAN (in a low hissing voice)
Will you be quiet? If they hear you, we are dead!

Dante looks at Mass once, then stares back wide-eyed at the wall ahead. Low humming and snarling sounds can be heard coming from the other side.

MASSACRE MAN (exasperated low voice)
Stop it! You are making me go bonkers. Dante, you have to gather yourself together or I can't go to look around for another exit!

Dante gulps once, then blinks. He looks back at Mass and nods, seemingly numb with fear.

DANTE'S INFERNO (stuttering in fear and confusion between chattering teeth)

I'll...I'll b...be ok! Yo...you g..ggg...go ah...ahead and s...ssss...see ifff...we c...cccc...an...essss...cape...

Mass looks at him long and hard. Then he sets his mouth grimly and stands up, his eyes surveying all around him.

MASSACRE MAN (with slight concern)
You sure?

Dante nods once, still shaking.

(YAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! !!)

A loud, screeching cry comes from the right as something red jumps through the air straight at the two friends. Mass pulls his Magnum out as Dante yells an absolute shriek of fear as he drags himself backwards. Mass aims at the red blur, but something cuts through the air and snaps the gun out of his hand.

ZERO (zombified)
BBBBBBRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Mass dives towards the gun, but Zero is swift. In one huge jump, he is sitting on Mass's back, and he grabs Mass's head from behind. With a sudden burst of frenzied brutality, Zero pulls off a huge chunk of flesh from Mass's neck.

MASSACRE MAN
YEOWCH!!

Dante sits frozen stiff, watching the zombie monkey chew on Mass's flesh. Mass grabs his neck wildly as blood starts pouring out of it in short, spurting torrents. He tries to reach for the gun with his left hand but just then, Zero grabs his head with both hands and pulls it out with a display of amazing strength.

DANTE'S INFERNO
NNN-NNNNNNNNNN-NNOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOO!!

Zero bashes Mass's head into the ground and picks at his brains which pop out from a crack. He turns around with a snarl at Dante, but sees something and stops. He looks back at Mass's brains and starts eating them in-between small whimpers of absolute hunger pangs.

Dante sits up. A sudden growl from behind startles him and he becomes still. He is shivering uncontrollably, his bowels slowly turning into water as he tries to peer behind him over his right shoulder.

A shadowy figure stands some way away, its black outline broken by a long row of sharp, red teeth. The figure takes a step forward and Dante shrieks in sudden, sheer terror.

Zombified NEWB snarls loudly again and lunges at Dante, who is still screaming.
