Cool, I'll take your Special Dead movie as my prize. ;)

Disqualified! Newb clearly said "Okay kids"!

As for the thread being closed, that's possibly the most annoying reason ever. Ouch. So freedom of speech is acceptable until the person with power gets bored. Aren't mods supposed to put aside their personal feelings on the matters when they act?

I see it as something detrimental to the forum, I'm sure an open discussion about your feelings on the matter is less likely to be closed than a thread linking to streaming films. Although, said threads are what usually gets those sites closed.

A: I'm a kid at heart.

B: I'm still a kid compared to Newb.

Take your pick.

Aww, come on guys...Please be nice to your new moderators...You guys voted for them, which means that you put your trust in them, so TRUST THEM...I am VERY grateful that they are doing their best for the forum, especially since I'm not here much lately :(

I'm not familiar with this particular incident, but I do trust their judgement, and I'm sure they have their reasons...The forum is in good hands, and they do far, FAR more here than just lock threads (which, believe it or not, is not done just to annoy you :p)

Just keeping the stupid spam outta here is monotonous, time-consuming, and has become a huge task.

I realize that not everyone will always agree with every decision that a moderator makes, that's to be expected...But, they really are doing a great job, especially since they haven't been at it for a very long time, and I have seen no real screw ups...Trust me, I HAVE seen a couple of moderators screw up MAJORLY in the past, and these guys are not doing anything such as what has transpired here before...I'm actually quite impressed :)

It's not just that the thread was closed that annoys us, it's that it was closed with the reason being just that Neverending didn't feel like carrying on the discussion. I trust our new mods greatly but I think, and I'm sure many others agree, that it was a pointless move and feels more like someone just finding any excuse to test out their new powers.

Impossible task apparently... that's all I see on top of the left column when I log in. Nice to see you around.

I got it for now...But, give it 5 minutes *sigh*

Horror needs to turn on the damned spam filter.

I gotta make dinner now...I'll check back in when I can. :)

There were no links at all in the thread we're talking about. I had a link in the original thread but V thought we could possibly get in legal trouble so he deleted that one and, with V's permission, I reposted the thread letting people know to contact me for the link instead.

The second thread was closed because, by his own admission, neverending didn't feel like discussing it any more, which to me is BS since he felt like discussing it enough to give himself the last word on the topic right before locking it. Evidently, we're not supposed to discuss anything neverending doesn't agree with or feel like talking about or we risk seeing our threads get locked.

Not all of us voted for them, for the record. Let's be realistic here.
