Agreed, Freddy's Dead was pure cheese.

Although I liked the whole sequence with the deaf kid and Freddy.

FD or 5 was the worst altho i liked the motorcycle scene in the 5th that was disturbing.

FD was by FAR the worst one! Bloody women directors...J/K!! :D They really shouldn't of given it to Rachel but there ya go. But FD was the first one I saw on the big screen and I still have the 3D glasses yet it still doesn't hold any dear place in my heart as it's kinda lame!

The Freddy in pt.1 woulda annihilated the demon in New Nightmare.

i liked it a lot. it was creative in that the special powers the kids had, and the way freddy used their fears against them. i think freddy was evil and had a really good macabre sense of humour in this one, in the way he taunted that crippled d&d playing guy for eg.. freddy showed how cruelly he could mess around with ppl.

1 & 3 are the best of the anoes series. 3 is an awesome and inventive and fun movie. and it brings back nancy of course! 4 is the farthest i would go in that series-5 and any thing after was WRETCHED and HORRIBLE! just my opinion.

I dont think anyone would argue that freddy from pt.1 would annihilate ANY other freddy.
