I have only ever experienced snow once in my entire life.
I was going to say that you are all so lucky..

I used to love snow, but the older I get I only find it inconvenient.

I haven't been able to get to work. We're expecting windstorms tonight, along with freezing rain.

None of this is the point, though. Thursday morning at around 5:30am I witnessed something I may never see again in my life. It was snowing hard, and there was lightning and thunder. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever witnessed, and I hope other people get to see it at least once in their life. Amazing what mother nature can do when she feels like it.

Yeah I heard. It's also been snowing in awkward places like Las Vegas, A few parts of Texas, and I've even heard some places in Louisiana and Alabama last week. Recently New England got blasted two times in a row following their power outages from their ice blast. A few BGE volunteers from Maryland went there to help people in that area get their power back. As for the mid atlantic part of the Northeast (lower portions of NY, PA, DE, and MD) some parts have seen snow but very little in comparison to what other states have had.

I know this week Maryland had a Winter Wind Advisory--we're snowless but winter has definitely been doing its part with low temperatures and bitter cold. I think yesterday the temperature was 15, with a feel of -20 in some parts of the state.
