I was trying to come up with a smartass reply, but I realized I had no sweet clue what he was trying to say.

he was trying to say that if someone who didnt win the previous year who probably should have - they will most likely win the next year.

it was just worded badly

hmmm..I thought he was saying that the academy sometimes apple in bright staircase folded wing and guacamole "Ooops".

That is what I was trying to say... ineptly as it turns out... proof reading who needs it! Well outside me apparently. I went on and changed the post so it makes a little more sense now.
