I consider myself lucky in that regard because i still get that "new" feeling from games after playing through several times.

I'm the same way.

Bioshock definitely had me on my toes... The fact that you could HEAR your enemies lurking before you saw them... That and sometimes they would sneak up behind you and wait for you to turn around...

Condemned II scared me so much I had to make my boyfriend play it through a couple of levels... Though the first Condemned was definitely darker and spookier. Both freaked me up a bit.

YOU need to find a Gamecube and play Eternal Darkness. You character starts to go mad as things get intense and he'll hallucinate; your limbs will start falling off as you walk or it'll rain blood, and like I mentioned before on trick makes it look like your Gamecube turned itself off. Makes for a pretty cool experience even if it is a bit dated now.

Another one which made me really fidgety was System Shock 2.

Brrr...those sounds.

And like Bioshock you would be looking around a room, taking things in, turn around and have some asshole monster just ready to attack.

Thats why it was more effective than RE 2, which I thought was the most scary out of all the RE games.

RE 2 was scary as hell but I'll never forget running from the Nemesis just to have him burst through a wall in front of me and make me run the other way. Code Veronica has some killer moments too. Oh, and I'm an RE fanboy :o

Oh boy dont remind me about Nemesis. He was a real pain in the ass. :D

Although the licker in the mirror in RE 2 was a real jumpy moment. Same when the zombies jumped through, crashing windows.

NICE

As it turns out, we have a dusty Gamecube in the bedroom. I'll have to see if I can find Eternal Darkness.

Amandaaaaaaaaaaa! Happy Halloween gurl! :)

You have to play it to believe it. Be ready to jump out of your skin more than once. ;)

I personally didn't think Eternal Darkness was all that scary....
