Same here, Rayne. My horror collection has really blossomed since I've been a member here. And I learned to appreciate Asian horror - never gave it a second thought before. And Dario Argento, and Lucio Fulci, and Mario Bava.....heck, I could go on all day.

I've had some rifts with people (one) here in the past, but for the most part I really like everyone here and couldn't imagine not being a part of it. Rayne, you probably remember that incident. You and I PMed for a while talking about it.

I did leave for a while when the trolls were at their worst - but BudMan brought me back via MySpace! :D

I'd like to make a suggestion to everyone who reads this thread: stop responding to the people that are pissing you off and you won't get pissed off anymore. Just don't reply......don't even read the thread. It's like they say about TV shows that get slammed by conservatives for language/sex/drugs, etc.: if you don't like the show, change the channel. Just don't read the thread.

here's the crazy part about me being here. Since I started here, I have:
Been engaged
Been Married
Had a child
had 5 onsite jobs and innumerable work from home contracts
written close to 10 short stories
Moved
Stopped talking to my family

and there's more, I just cant think of anything else right now.

And I remember when your daughter was born and how happy and proud you were. I think you were already married when I arrived here. And I remember the first story of yours that I read - and my menopausal brain is drawing a complete blank on the title.

When I came here, I didn't know what giallo meant. I haven't been here that long but I have learned a lot. I know what I can and can't watch. I haven't bought any movies but I never bought any of my favorites before coming here. I like slasher films and suspensful, scary stuff but I tried two foreign horror films mentioned here and added others to my list. I look forward to watching them. I hope everyone makes a list in Fester's top 100 films thread so I can learn more.

This may be a loaded question, but-how would a non-tech person get an on-line job?
Any sites I may be directed to?
I need a job , I do not have the time nor mindset to go to back to school.
I would love to be a stay at home mom and work on-line in some type of capacity (other than med. transcript.-ugh)

I've only been here 1 month longer than you, and it feels like I've been here FOREVER

You really HAVE been around for a long-ass time :)

I have a limited amount of energy and it's all for my rugrats:D

I did search for on-line jobs for awhile and all I came up with was putting together crafts at home for very little money and of course all the scams:rolleyes:
