Gremlins is classed as a Horror-comedy as well as such things as Scream. Gremlins was marketed originally as a kids flick which caused some great controversy in the UK as all these kids toys were sold for the movie and sticker books and jnr novels and comics but when the movie was released it was a 15 certificate and kids couldn't go! Part two is 100% comedy.

I watched this movie as a kid and has loved it since after I watched this movie I wanted a mogwai even thought they didnt exist I remember renting this from a local video shop and after that I went on to buying it. My favourite character in the film is Stripe for those of you who dont know who he is I will attach a photo of him at the bottom of the page he is a evil mogwai and makes me laugh. The first Gremlins was a great movie my favourite scene was at the bar when all those evil mogwais took over and I loved the cinema scene when they where watching Snow White. The second movie was also great but not as good as the original the gremlins got bigger in this movie and was scarier well scary when I was young. now going on to rate the movies out of 10 both movies was brilliant here are the rating I give the movies. I remember seeing this movie as a kid and I have always loved Gizmo..he is soooo adorable! This movie is a really great ol' horror flick that I could watch again and again!
