what is there to argue about..?? this is not a horror movie... this is more of the military genre flick.. Great killing scenes and great lines... "I love you looong time" I mean yeah when I went through boot camp I thought the same thing.. blowing my drill SGT`s head off... :D But I didnt.. I am in the marine reservists.. I was in the ARMY national guard but they were not worth my time... now I am with what I belong to.

You obviously missed my meaning. War is real life horror and there are parts in this movie that are scarier than anything in Friday the 13th part 17. Do you get what I'm saying?

I think i do avenger! Even tho it's not horror per say like everyone is thinking, it is like you said real life horror! And if anyone knows a vietnam vet that has nightmares everynight to this day, then you know how real that horror was!

I forgot to add that I did see FMJ and for a war picture it was pretty good, but it wasn't really my type of movie. Guess maybe because I'm a chick? :D

Duh, and I forgot the main reason for this thread! Yes I saw Maximum Overdrive also. Great movie. Makes ya think about all the machines in the world, huh! Loved it!

they should have quit making his book into movies after it was released
take it easy
charlie

But if they quit making them into movies......
1- that would mean i wouldn't get to see them cause my husband never lets me read, so i have to wait for it to become a movie.

2-that would mean we'd have less to talk about on this site...specifically this thread! haha:D

Seriously, i love his movies...even if they aren't usually as good as the books!

He doesn't, I haven't read a book in quite a few years. I think he can't stand that I'm not paying full attention to him. If I start to read he interupts me within about 15 mins. That's why I had to switch to Marvel Comics. I can finish one in approx. 10-15 mins. Thus the reason I am all for Stephen King books being made into movies. That way I get to at least see them!:D
