Wow...

For when the original TCM first came out it was pretty gorey to the standards of that time. Then again it was made to be more gorey and shot that way. Yet, it was cut out to get a releasable rating.

imo it was a cross between the original and scream or any other teenie-bopper movie where the goodguys were "beautiful" people and everyone else was ugly. still pretty good though.

The new TCM impressed me because I could finally see how the original TCM and the original Psycho were based on the same serial killer. Before then I could never make the connection and they seemed too different to be based on the same person.

I'm I the only one who noticed that?

If you watch TCM 2003 again, I would suggest watching Psycho first.

wow they take out the hitchhiker"the brother" big fuckin deAL IT HAD MUCH MORE GORE MORE OF A PLOT IT WAS LONGER THERE WAS LESS GOD DAMN SCREAMING WHICH BY THE WAY WAS KIND OF AGRAVATING IN THE FIRST 1.IT HAD MORE SCENES WITH LEATHERFACE IN IT. AND A BETTER CAST: WELL I THINK WITH 1 FLAW THAT AMANDA BIEL OR WHATEVER HER NAME IS TO TAKE A POP- TEEN MOVIE IDOL AND PUT HER IN TCM REMAKE IS DUMB
BUT OTHERE THAN THAT IT IS SUBERB

lol - I liked the remake but it was no where near better than the original. Better cast? Bigger budget. This movie was made to grab a quick buck from the teen community it was made toward that. The amount of screaming in the first had a point...
