The whole of Bay Area was flooded yesterday afternoon, and flood waters receded during the night time. The news said that avalanches were happening frequently in the mountains up north...but around these parts its still raining heavily with gusty winds slamming the raindrops against the houses.

Its freezing as hell here. There were brief power outages yesterday but that seems to have stopped now.

More storms are headed this way later today through Monday. I hate this weather.

Here in Los Angeles, more snow in neighboring mountains. Hail has fallen recently in Venice Beach...very unusual. Cold, cold, cold at my home in San Gabriel, and the kitties outside are freezing their asses off too. Right now the rain has stopped and the air is clear and smells nice, but tonight, thunderstorms are forecast.

Its cold, but not quite as cold as it has been the last few nights, and we have snow....pretty snow....:) And its all the prettier since we are home for the rest of the night, and don't have to go out in it for any reason. I hope.

Edit: So I got outside just now to start somebodies car for them, being the nice guy I am, but being the stupid guy I don't wear a shirt. And what happens the one fucking time I'm not wearing a shirt outside?? I fucking fall in the snowbank. Jesus christ its cold.

The storm has taken a break.

The rain has come down to a gentle drizzle, and the winds have died down. Its still freezing, but yeah...

I hope this improves through the night.

It was cool and birght up until about 5, and we started getting snow.

I haven't been outside yet, but it sounds like there is some traffic and it's probably overcast...

Its bright and sunny, but frickin cold.
