ok return of the living dead is a completely different series from romeros works, thus it has a different mythos and different set of zombie rules. personally i feel that this series sucked fucking ass. Zombies that talk? "Send more cops..." WTF is that?
secondly, now please correct me if im wrong but who dies in dawn/ day of the dead that doesnt come back as a zombie who wasnt first shot in the head? to my knowledge it never shows it. im not too sure about dawn, but in day it never once mentions that the dead arent being reanimated, and that only through fluid transfusion that one can become a zombie. Well what about those soldiers you ask? How could those soldiers come back if frankenstine had hacked them up and used them for bub treats. Why didnt frankenstien come back? well my guess is that in the barrage of bullets that took him down, one of them aced his brain.
then again.. maybe im looking too deeply into this
its late.....
