Good start although I think the trailer actually need a little more build up in the suspense.
Is it a spoof of the Blair Witch?

Not really a spoof because the only thing funny about it is the bad acting. The script isn't comedic. It's more of a 'lost chapter' to the Blair Witch tale. The woods they are in are supposed to be 'Black Hills Forest' which is where BWP takes place & they see some of the same stuff as in the BWPs.

yeh, it looks like a blair witch/wrong turn kinda thing. Pretty good. Maybe a bit more chilling music. Sorry if that sounded rude. It's better than whatever I could have done. How long is the actual film?

Not rude at all, any comments & criticisms are appreciated and taken with a grain of salt. The whole film is only 10 minutes long.

I'd like to have a disk, keep us updated!

Keep us updated if you actually do make it into some form of DVD. To support a fellow HDC member and indie no budget film maker, I would buy a copy.

Thanks for the support! I'll definately keep everyone here posted.
In semi-related news, my 2nd short script is done & we'll be filming this summer. Like I mentioned, the film that THIS thread & trailer are about was done more with the intention of getting myself footage to experiment with on my new software and little attention was paid to story, script or acting... I have a feeling that the 2nd one we make will be a GIGANTIC improvement over the first by literally hundreds of percent. The script is more elaborate and much better written and having done 1 now, I know alot more of what works and what doesn't so I think it'll go much smoother & better all around. That 2nd one, however won't be complete probably until the end of the year.
In other semi-related news, The Cabin, the film I acted in (but had no part in writing or directing) is STILL in post-production hell. It's a feature length low-budget slasher and the director is having some major problems with the scenes we shot on greenscreen. At this point, I'm getting less and less optimistic about this film's chances of ever seeing the light of day at all, but if anything ever does happen with it, I'll surely keep you all posted on that too.
