LOL for sure....it rained on us every so often in the back of the truck on the Hana highway, and then it POURED on us while we hiked up the mountain. The first time we hid under this massive banyan tree until it let up, but after that we got all primitive and decided the rain was great. It made the ground pretty treacherous, but it was worth it. At one point I got ahead of everybody else in the bamboo forest, and it was such a cool feeling, like you really are alone in there, and it was very dark and very green. I can't wait to go back in September.:D Thanks for the kind words, guys:) |
"A brave man likes the feel of nature on his face!"
"Yeah, and a wise man has enough sense to get out of the rain!!" |
Fortunately, there were no Wing Kong on the mountain.:p
|
LOL yes, actually.
It's very culturally mixed on the island, and it was interesting being the minority for a change. I like the diversity, it makes the food even better.:D |
Looks like you had a blast, welcome back.

That raging waterfall looks amazing. And the volcanic beach - a few months ago a couple of friends of mine went off to New Zealand for a 3 month visit, and when they asked if I would like anything bringing back I asked for a volcanic rock. Bless 'em, they went and got me a bagful!
You sound like you had a great time. Good to see you back :) |
Yes and we loves you
|
Well, I loves you guys too.:p
I keep wishing for mango glazed bbq ribs. I'm gonna have to find a recipe somewhere. Yay ribs. |
