i agree, i watched the exorcist aged 10 and it has left deep upside down crucifix shaped scarring on my psyche ever since. and, without giving away my age, that was when the exorcist was still very much cutting edge. this theory, for me, applies to a lot of movies. in conclusion, we should be tolerant of people with bad taste as there is no accounting for it. lol

Opinion. Plus, I don't think anyone gets "scars" from the "scheme" of Scream. Haha. Anyway, Scream is amazing.

Ferret chucker, you may want to give a spoiler warning last page when you revealed the killer. Kind of a serious spoil.

well the first advert for scream i saw...on the back of a comic book said 'scream...the new thriller from wes craven'........not horror

Scream, no matter how fun or hokey, is DEFINENTLY in the horror genre. Not a thriller, it is horror.

I agree Scream is deffinitely a horror movie. And it did make way for some pretty cool kill scenes ***Spoiler Alert for people who havent' seen*** The sister dying in the garage door in the first movie was actually really funny and I loved it! I love kills scenes that are interetsing and against the norm.

Scream was a great time. I saw it opening day and was surprised how much I dug it.

But there is no comparison between the two films. Scream is fun. Halloween is impressive.

Halloween all the way.
