Audition is one of the most effective movies I've seen in any genre. If you don't have it spoiled for you, the ending really is shocking. Sure, you pick up on the fact that Asami is not quite right fairly early in the movie, but you don't realize just how wrong things are about to go.

Cure and Tell Me Something are also excellent.

My favourite is Ring, but it's followed very closely by Ring 0.

I've also seen:

Ring 2 - Which was OK, but not on a par with the other two in the trilogy
Audition - This didn't do it for me, I'm afraid. Had it's moments, perhaps.
Ju-on - Ok - But i preferred the American Grudge
Dark Water - Again, OK, but well short of Ring.

Wonder if "One missed call 2" is any good.:rolleyes:

"Kiri-kiri-kiri-kiri!" It (kiri) means "deeper"

got audition via dvd, and saw it, it gave me the creeps.
