Personally, Demon of the Fall and April Ethereal are my favourite songs. All they're songs are godly though, from the death vocal ones to the clean acoustic ones.

Truley a great and talented band indeed.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm...Opeth rocks...My favorite is "Harvest"..."Bleak" and "The Leper Affinity" are really good, too

BTW...I can't stand it when people mix up Opeth with Otep...There is a really big difference...

I guess if a band that's been around for more than 10 years is new...

They're alright, but I never understood the huge following that worships this band to death. Granted they do have their own style and it's pretty enjoyable, but some things they do get far too drawn out and overdramatic...

Ok ill grant you that. They do get drawn out and dramatic at times. The thing that got me was their ability to go from uber hardcore with close to Death metal vocals, to a almost chevelle sound with crystal clean vocals and more acoustics. The ability to do both styles better than most bands can do 1.

I'd be offended by that statement, but given the fact that you more than likely listen to horrible music will make it forever void.

I prefer melodic metal, and Opeth really isn't that. I never said they were bad or anything, just that I don't enjoy them. So unless you want to get in a heated arguement, I suggest you just back off.

Listen to 'Damnation'.

And if you want me to defend my music, I will do it to the death, trust me.;)
